No that’s not what I’m saying.

For instance look at Brady. Weather conditions sucked. Guys dropped footballs and Brady overthrew receivers. So when he struggled he got help by another unit. A unit they take serious. Your quarterback is going to struggle some games. But when ours does he has to bail himself out because coaching, special teams and the defense won’t do it.

I’m sorry but you can’t ask your quarterback to go 75 yards every play and expect success. You basically put pressure on your offense to make mistake free football while trying to sustain 75 yard drives. It’s moronic and not a winning formula.

That blocked punt was all the difference in the Patriots winning the game and Brady getting the one TD that they had. The difference in coaching is that Belichick put emphasis on blocking the punt, knowing that special teams are a weak area for the Cowboys. Garrett and Jerry decides to stick with the same special teams coach that has be coaching up the worst special teams in the NFL that has caused the Cowboys to lose several games. Garrett not calling plays on offense or defense gives him less of an excuse to not have his special teams playing up to their best ability.

Garrett isn't accountable for anything which is why he is able to keep his job even when other coaches on the staff get fired. Field position is important and the Cowboys offense has had the worst field position because either the defense can get turnover or force punts. Or because the special teams can never get a good kick or punt return.

I thought Dak was fine once he put the gloves on.

he was bad before that. The Int hurt. I wish he would have worn the gloves sooner.

that patriots defense has made every QB except LAMAR Jackson look bad. And lamar’s success was largely due to his freakish running ability.

and the conditions for throwing were AWFUL.

"put the gloves on"

What does that mean? Is that what happened in GB and NYJ games, he wasn't trying?

Why are his 'gloves' not on all the time? Will this continue after he's the highest paid player in Cowboys history?

This is true but look at how this team is structured. No one knows who calls the defense or offense.....the coaching structure is all screwed up.

I'll agree on the special teams

but when your defense only surrenders 13 points and 7 of those were on a 20 yard drive, I'm finding it hard to rationalize the "defense contributed nothing" argument.

If you only need 14 points to win a football game in today's offense friendly NFL, you should never lose a game. Period.

Fact is--we've lost 2 such games this year (NE, and NO)
That's a problem whether people want to admit it or not. And "weather" wasn't a factor in the Superdome.

Yes, but player drops are a factor. ST are a factor. We would've won that game (Saints game) had Maher made one of his kicks. We would've won that game had Witten and Zeke not fumbled the ball on the 50 yard line. We would've won that game had we had AT LEAST ONE DRIVE THAT STARTED IN SAINTS TERRITORY. Dak has to start on his own 10-20 yard line on 99% of his drives.

I think he’s just talking about yesterday. Gloves weren’t the factor in those other games not sure why you brought them up.

You can’t remove an INT. That was a horrible throw by Dak. Brady didn’t throw a pick. And if your going up go by stats, Dak padder them on the last throw and Brady three one up right before then just to run off the clock.

And again, Dak had way better blocking.
You’re on crack. There was some plays Brady had 6 seconds to throw. Wynn helped them out tremendously.

Dak or any quarterback would not be able to throw in those conditions. In those conditions you need a new game plan, A plan Garrett and team didn't have. I blame Dak for the one int he threw. And that came after a high snap from another over paid OLineman that screwed up the timing. So blame Dak for maybe that but the rest was on Garrett and Company!!

Brady had plenty of pressure yesterday, and I'd say it was worse for Brady than Dak.

Brady got it done. Dak didn't. Difference between a GOAT and an Alex Smith clone.

Absolutely pathetic against a worthy opponent. The game was winnable and I'm tired of hearing that for every loss. Good enough to feel like we're fine, but not bad enough to overhaul the team.

I sure hope I'm wrong but I feel like it's safe to write the season off. Lose next week we won't see any changes, but I'd be in favor of finding out a lot about our backups mixed in with starters.
Dak? Seriously? What is wrong with people?

....and we're supposed to be one of the best offenses. I guess we found out who the frauds were.

Remember what Dak said? "Patriots haven't seen an offense likes ours yet" - First off, they did and that team actually beat the Patriots. "BUT THE ELEMENTS" - This is playoff weather, you find a freakin' way to win.

Yeah you win 9 to 6 in those conditions by not allowing a blocked punt inside the red zone. If that didn't happen I think it would've been really hard for the Pats to score a TD the way their offense was going. Special Teams absolutely gifted the Pats an easy drive inside the 20. Both offenses could not do much, it would've ended up being a total a game of field goals which is actually kind of fine in those conditions. Oh well...

you know that special teams can be coached, right?

you know that the HC is responsible to get the team ready to play, right?

I agree. Coaching is definitely the problem. The difference in how the Pats are coached compared to how the Cowboys are coached is so glaring, it is indefensible.

We needed 14 freakin' points to win - Patriots offense has struggled this year without the elements, we SUPPOSEDLY have one of the best offenses in football. We couldn't score a single TD. This is more than just the elements, dude. A bad Patriots offense still found a way to get into the end zone, we had the ball in Pats territory a few times, couldn't score.

Dak, Amari, and Zeke all failed. They will all combine for a pretty good chunk of our cap space as well.
