Dak and Coaching were major issues today

You’re on crack. There was some plays Brady had 6 seconds to throw. Wynn helped them out tremendously.

Some plays doesn’t contradict a general statement. Brady was sacked twice, while Dak was hardly touched and didn’t get sacked once.

Some plays doesn’t mean generally that Dak had way better protection than Dak. It’s clear whose on crack.

The first Dak feasts on crappy defenses, the other Dak goes AWOL when facing tough defenses

Dak-stans just don’t want to admit how good the pass blocking is from our line, even against ‘good’ defenses. It’s most evident on our third down and long conversions where we are at the top of the league with Dak getting to sit back and chill. Even Dak wa saying last week he was basically going through his reads multiple times. To his credit he isn’t bailing like he used too, but that isn’t his profile anyways. When things start to get ansy, then there is a chain reaction for him where he starts to fear pressure where none exists.

Dallas is ranked first in pass protection by Football Outsiders and third in run blocking.

You can repeat it many times, doesn't make it true.

It is absolutely true. Dak wasn’t sacked at all, while Brady went down twice. There were a couple times Brady completely ducked two rushers and another time where he basically tossed a passer like three inches from the ground.

Dallas is ranked number 1 in pass protection. The stats don’t support you.

You can try to create a narrative by pointing out a few plays, but you'd still be wrong.

You not pointing out any plays on the other hand don’t make you right. I also point out the fact that Dallas is pretty much ranked first in the league per the stats by guys like Football Outsiders, so while you may claim I’m picking out a few plays, those few plays along with the ‘advanced stats’ are still more than your zero.

What does season long ranking have to do with one game?

What does season long ranking have to do with one game?

There were THREE examples I brought up to substantiate the fact your delusional:

1. Dak wasn’t sacked at all one game.
2. Brady avoided a couple other sure sacks that I mentioned above
3. The historical trend of the Cowboys being ranked the number 1 pass protecting line in the whole NFL to reject your claim that I’m probably not being selective about plays, but you are...

I have more evidence on my side that your speaking nonsense as opposed to me. You on the other hand provided ZERO examples.

And your still at zero,

The fact that we went in thinking the passing game against the best secondary in the league was going to work in itself is nothing short of stupid. Especially in the weather conditions. The interception Dak threw was terrible. I agree. Him deciding not to run is also suspicious to me, but that’s a topic for another day. Everything else wasn’t his fault. Witten dropping every pass thrown his way. Every 3rd down conversion being taken away because of a “holding” or “tripping call”. He put gloves on and made adjustments. Some of those 4th down punt/field goal calls were punk wussy calls. Not his fault. Some of the WR’s (Jarwin at first especially) couldn’t hold onto the ball or do anything with the ball. Dak had some great passes today. Including the Jarwin out of bounds (could shoulda been TD).

Coaching is inexcusable though.

He had a lot of bad ones also and the pass to Jarwin, it wasn't a great throw. I mean, Dak put it where I suspect he believed only Jarwin could come down with it but it took him out of bounds, looked like. It is what it is IMO.

And the Patriots wouldn't have either if not for the blocked punt. The weather was a HUGE factor for both teams, especially in the passing game.
Right no one is denying how awful STs was or figure out why Quinn hasn’t been fired since he left the field; but again, UNLIKE our offense, however the Pats got the ball, when they were in the redzone they scored a TD.

There’s no denying that. But when the Pats got in the redzone, they scored a TD. We kick FGs.
Patriots are putting up all-time defensive numbers. Keys to the game were posted at the top of the broadcast and we lost in all 3 areas.

None of those were about red zone offense, and in a poor weather close game little things cause losses.

I understand that, but his running ability possibly could have us at a different record right now. He’s great on the run, especially throwing on the run. It’s one of his best attributes. A higher record and winning of the MVP would have his contract higher than ever. He is possibly hurting himself more than helping himself right now.
Considering the weather, Dak should have run a lot more. Patriots had trouble with running qbs in the past. The throw to Jarwin in the back of the endzone should have been a scramble run by Dak for a 1st down. In the wind and rain, even if Dak threw a perfect pass, there was a good chance the pass could fall incomplete.

Absolutely pathetic against a worthy opponent. The game was winnable and I'm tired of hearing that for every loss. Good enough to feel like we're fine, but not bad enough to overhaul the team.

I sure hope I'm wrong but I feel like it's safe to write the season off. Lose next week we won't see any changes, but I'd be in favor of finding out a lot about our backups mixed in with starters.

Both need to be replaced ASAP!

Animec city down in Big D when playing quality defenses.......woof woof 10 points anyone or better said Maher, you ready baby?

So basically what you’re saying is the offense had no hand in this loss either?

17 MPH winds doesn’t lend itself to a huge passing attack. Two phantom tripping calls, one blocked punt. A lot of circumstances there.

Yes, INT was bad and on Dak, though still a good play by the defender to get it. Right there we are 30% chance to win given our defense doesn’t get turnovers. Maybe we should have gone for it on 4th and 7 only because we really didn’t get deep often. But Patriots defense is putting numbers equal to all time great defenses such as the Ravens and Bears.

Were all in agreement about the defense and ST. But we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about offense. Tom Brady threw a TD in the redzone. No on expected a 400 yard passing game in those conditions but come on, the offense has to score.
