"Adult" and Mickey Spagnola have probably never been used in the same sentence before.

Mickey insulted Shan for bringing up Dez (which is a valid talking point, btw), and then completely dismissed the question about analytics.

Shan is right, Mickey does have a very antiquated and prehistoric view of football. And it is very rude/arrogant to try and dictate content on SOMEONE ELSE'S show.

Everyone has their view of reality.. Shan is pissed because he acts that ONLY his reality is right, and everyone that thinks different are devils.

It's funny, Micky is so far up Jerry's butt, that the only coach he didn't worship was the only good one they had in 25 years, Parcels. Probably because he didn't bow to Jerry and would be annoyed by homer Mickey.

Shan kisses his bosses butt. But thats acceptable.

Mickey's whole argument against using football analytics is that Jerry's accountant told him not to buy the Cowboys?

Wow. That's epic propaganda work by Mickey.

Mickey knows who pays him. Jerry. In his 2 decades or so working for the team, he has never once said anything negative. Ever. Even during the 5-11 Campo years, you'd think we were going to be a contender every year listening to him. What is even the point of having him on the air? He serves no purpose. He is a company yes man that will defend Jerry and anything from Dallas to his death. His voice is also nails on a chalkboard. Nothing about him is redeeming.

And Shan was acting like Gandhi with all his anger.

Never said he was innocent. Mickey started off pissy because he didn't approve of the subject matter. The majority of Shans anger came as a response to Mickey's attitude.

It's even worse than that. He basically said don't use analytics because sometimes its wrong. LOL

So Shan can yell, but thats ok. Mickey has his viewpoint and now he's evil because he doesnt follow Shans so called reality.

We can debate this forever, but I still think taking the FG was the right decision on 4th and 7. There was still 6 minutes left in the game. Remember, the Cowboys were down 7 points. Even if the got the TD to tie it up, they still would have needed to stop the Patriots to get the ball back and hopefully kick the game winning FG.

I'm going to disagree and use a comment from "Mickey the Homer". He said Shan needed to remember they were going up against the best defense in the NFL. Add that to the weather conditions and you and Mickey are actually making the case for going for it. If they hadn't been able to get into the red zone at any other time during the game, in those conditions why, in the name of Wilson, would you think you can get a stop and do it two times in a row? You must have a TD to win...period...full stop. If you don't make it...NE is deep in their own territory. Mickey and The Clapper both pointed out they stopped NE and got the ball back...OK, your point. By taking 3 and kicking off they gave NE better field position and, after the stop, made the job harder for themselves. They were going to have to get a stop to win. In those conditions...play for OT and if you get a stop, try to drive a shorter distance and win with a FG.

I can't even listen to those guys. Furthermore, I cannot stomach the dribble that is written on dallascowboys.com as there is absolutely no critique of the team. Even the mailbag seems to be edited for content these days.

I'm done. We as humans follow our own reality. To be angry because another person's is different than yours. But go ahead. Throw your knives at Mickey and go drink his blood if that's the end all.
