Knowing what a team is going to do only counts if it's against Dallas.

the offense didn't help much but lets not pretend that new england's offense is a juggernaught and the conditions were horrible. had it been a better day you can rest assured the patriots and the cowboys both would have scored more. Not sure what the outcome would have been but rest assured our crappy defense would have probably given up 25-30. That said Heath balled out

Of course, this all is only a defense of the coaches, if one is expected to believe that coaching doesn’t have an impact on a players ability to execute.

which of course would just be a foolish thing to think.
You can't handle the fact that I'm right that they were prepared for it but didn't execute the more I speak the more foolish you look

The fact you think everyone else is foolish but you, the guy who claimed Garrett is basically Belichick if he had coached in NE, is hilarious.

I think they executed. If it wasn’t for special teams and a pick new england would of been without touchdowns as we were and I believe we would of won off field goals or long drives with dak and zeke eating clock.
You hit the proverbial nail on the head right there

The defense executed well. Held them to 4.3 yards per play (Dallas had 5.4 in the same weather conditions) and didn't allow a drive longer than 52 yards. They never took the ball away, which is why it's a very good performance and not a great one.

Yup. The defense played well, the offense played OK and the Special Teams lost the game for us.

You’re the clown that thinks Garret is infallible and that every issue is blamed solely on the players.

meanwhile, I actually blame the player and the coaches.

only one of us looks foolish.

What's worse, other teams calling out our plays or our guys knowing what the other team is going to do and not being able to stop it?

It was awesome sauce.

We lined up in punt formation. Our WR was totally not covered and if the team was aware, the punter could have snapped it, flicked it to the WR who would have gotten the first down. NE noticed this and ran a defender over eventually.

On top of that, they didn't put anyone back which further confused us. So we took a delay penalty. We go to the sidelines, regroup, come back out and the Pats do the EXACT SAME THING and we still are clueless on what to do. The outside WR runs in to add a blocker but that causes an illegal formation (or motion, can't remember) penalty on the kick.

That's coaching. Plain and simple. Throw in the Pollard gaffe on the kick off when we had him lining up at the goal line when the wind was blowing and having balls land around the 20 and special teams was a real crap show on Sunday.
in their defense, I think they were worried about a punt block, they already had one blocked, and NE had 10 men on the line to rush, dallas had only 8 blockers so 3 would come free.
If 3 guys come unblocked from the outside, they could maybe block a pass attempt by the punter, who is not a passer, and then the rain.
But the whole thing showed a lack of preparation for that scenario.

I would think they would have snapped it quick and try to throw to one of the guys out wide, they had 1 on each side.
