Been here since the beginning and it was a wild ride to begin with. A lot of these names I hadn't thought about in some time. I served as a mod for a few years and got to see the salty side of some of the membership...

I, like many others here in the beginning, were members of several other boards such as the Ranch (good ol' Roy Philpott), the cesspool that was the FWST board. You had to wear a HazMat suit to post on there, DMN and others...

Members such as Hostile, Juke99, Dale, Reality, Brainpaint, WoodysGirl, the late great CBZ (RIP Pops), Yeagermeister, casmith07, MichaelWiniki, Thumper, bbgun, Crazy Cowboy, adbuther, CowboyJoe and many more have a 15+ year association with trying to fix the Cowboys...

Some good memories...

I'm here from the begining as well.
Cound't spend a day without reading all the debates between Braintpaint, Juke99, Dale, CBZ ( RIP Pops), bbgun, Trickblue, Yeagermeister, MichaelWiniki, and all the others and adding some of my points...
But after fighting with some health issue, I realized that I had to spend my time training and doing sports instead of watching and reading ...

I still have a look a few minutes everyday reading the most interesting subjects.

I wont lie...I spent 30 minutes psychoanalyzing it it was so surreal. Like "Did he have those saved and was planning it?; if so, why save them, it's the internet?", "Was it a person truely snapping and this was an equivalent of mass shooting, so to speak, on a forum board and ironically should I be thankful it ended there?"; "Was this spur of the moment?"; "How could he he CTRL+C; CTRL+V in real time faster than mods could delete?"; "How was an original up for 5 minutes and blocks of replies being deleted?"

I'd like to have a dollar or two for every post i started up and then deleted since 2004.

I am not an argument guy, i think it's a waste of time, i'll discuss and debate all day and enjoy it immensely, but arguing not so much.

But this board over the years, because everyone is so passionate about the Cowboys, has really had me ready to go many many times. I've had to remember that it's strangers on the internet, not guys from my local bar (and i've forgotten that on more than one occasion).

From 2004 until my retirement in 2014 i worked at power generating stations, often working night shifts which left lots of time to enter the forum and follow threads, arguments and discussions in real time with a simple page refresh. Some of those old scraps went to multiple pages in a heartbeat, funny as hell when i think back on it.

This has been a great forum that through the years has provided me with countless hours of enjoyment , information, frustration, and sometimes anger, and it's been the only one i've followed daily since i first registered.

I post infrequently but have been a very active member in the background since it's inception, and it's been super cool for me to see a lot of the old names who apparently have been doing the exact same thing.
