This is exactly why I like him.......he a coach of ALL 3 phases of the game. Sure he'll have his coor for all 3 phases but the guy knows how to win. Kinda Jimmy Johnsonish .......

That's about 500% more aware than Garrett has ever been of course it's hard to be aware when you stand there staring off into space I doubt he has any clue about this

Garrett just stands on the sidelines and doesn't call plays for defense or offense. (Even though I believe he influences had the offense is ran at times). So, that's less of an excuse not for him to make sure that the special teams are up to par. When a head coach really doesn't try to get into the details of game planning and just goes along for the ride, then it leads to the team being unprepared coming out of the gate.

I believe that Garrett's job is on the line for every single week for the rest of the season and another loss or 2 before the season ends will get him fired or at least fired as soon as week 16 ends, if Philly wins the division. Will Garrett still play scared and Conservative knowing that his job is on the line and how will the players play for him when his job is on the line.

If Garrett can't get it done then I expect Urban Meyer to be one of Jerry's biggest contenders for the job.

Just a reminder of Jerry's response after he heard Meyers sais he take the Cowboys job if offered.....

Of course, Jones heard those comments.

“For Urban Meyer to say that is a compliment,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas via Michael Pro Football Talk. “Period. I really know that. The job is a great job. Now, that’s not implying that I made it that way, or I don’t make it that way. It’s just the place to be.

You're absolutely right but if you watch him closely he kind of Whispers into his headset and I think that's where he gets involved where he shouldn't and things get all screwed up on offense ? I could be wrong but I don't know who else he would be talking to?

I wasn’t big on the possibility of Meyer being our next HC, mostly because college coaches from big time schools always have the best players so you never know how much the winning is due to coaching. But this definitely gave me some hope. He showed more football coaching knowledge in that short clip than I’ve heard from Garrett in 10 years.
