I enjoyed this one (1991) because I was watching with a bunch of Steelers fans. Cowboys won, 20-10.
Yep that was a good one in my top 3 any win against the Steelers is real good

Had 6 wins in a row in the 80s good timesI'm 47, and enjoyed some of the early '80s wins over Bears, Browns, Cardinals, etc. But most impactful, exciting and memorable was 1990 win over Commanders 27-17. Emmitt's huge touchdown run when we duked out Darrell Green. To me this was the beginning that Jimmy's group was starting to turn the corner into something very special.
1974.
Cowboys came back to beat the Commanders 24-23 on Thanksgiving.
Longhorns didn't play on Thanksgiving but, the week just prior to, Horns beat TCU 81-16 and the game after they beat aTm 32-3.
I was a bit too young for that one, first one I remember was beating GreenBay in 70The best was the first.
1966.
First year we broke thru.
As I recall the game..it was against the Cleveland Browns.
They had been the winners of the division for years.
Danny Reeves was our rookie HB and Bob Hayes was also a rookie.
I was about 10 years old in the Cotton Bowl with my mom and dad and older brother.
Complete strangers were jumping up and down, shaking hands and hugging.
Very vivid memory.
That was the one Clint Longley won I believe
This one..Someone posted the half hour highlight show of that 1966 game last night on FB. I watched it for the first time.
Dallas had field goals of 11, 12, and 13 yards. Lou Groza missed all three of his attempts for Cleveland. Times have changed.
We are.Damn yall are old
I heard Staubach tell this story about them having a fight in TC.Clint Longley beating Commanders
Seen a couple of great games during the 80's and 90's in Texas Stadium, was always a good time to score some great seats on Thanksgiving for us poor folks
This is a great memory. My last thanksgiving when my mother was alive and I watched this game with a room full of my screaming Commander fan cousins. Trash talking the whole game and Dallas won!I'm 47, and enjoyed some of the early '80s wins over Bears, Browns, Cardinals, etc. But most impactful, exciting and memorable was 1990 win over Commanders 27-17. Not that hard at all, folks happy to sell seats because of leaving town or having folks come in, but to be honest I don't recall going in the S/B years. I got stubs in a box around here someplaceReally?
I figured that once they got good around 91 or so it woud've been almost impossible to get seats, much less great seats, until they'd cooled off at the end of that decade
How old are you?Damn yall are old
