To answer your question, based on our current talent level I would say we’re almost right we’re we should be because the players lost a lot of those games. I could concede a win or two based on coaching but we could cherry pick every bad coaching decision vs every bad play by a defender, QB, RB, etc and there’s no way you can blame it all on coaching.

You assume when I reference coaching Im only talking about in game decisions. I dont know why, I never said that. When I reference coaching Im talking about being a disciplined team that runs a smart scheme and is able to adapt, not overcompensate. We are none of those things. I don't even have to talk about the comedy of errors with our in game management. Because the preceding points are more than enough.

Two games however is good enough for me. 8-4 puts us in contention. So yes coaching will continue to get the majority of the blame from me.

What hill am I dying on? The one that says Zeke cost us the NO game, the one that says our over rated defensive players cost us several games, the one that says coaching cost us a couple games or the one that says Jerry has cost us all of these games?

JJ will fire Opie and promote Kris Richard as an interim. It will be his audition for the permanent position and to hopefully provide a spark. And it will happen sometime in the next week. Just a prediction.

To be clear the majority of whats wrong with this team is coaching. That is all I was ever getting at, before you wanted to point towards over rated talent. You want to lean more on talent go ahead. But you said yourself we are 1-2 games better with better coaching.

Ill take 8-4. Coaching is holding this team back more than anything else. To clarify that doesn't mean just in game management it means being a smarter, better prepared team and not running an antiquated defense that gets us exposed and forces no turnovers.

Great. They will get a spark, Richard will be the HC next year on a 5 year deal and then proceed to wet the bed.

I was right there with you. I posted many times we were better with him. How does a Dallas Cowboy player win a SB? He goes to a different team...

yup...me too. And they didn't disappoint. Played like S(&&^ and the coaching staff still pointing fingers @ the players...players pointing fingers @ the coaches. Definitely a division within the team.

When all 4 of the talking heads said Dallas would win, I knew we were doomed.

But what's most maddening is that this team is not getting blown out, every game the other team does just enough to win, whether it be blocking a field goal, getting a critical fumble, moving the chains at key times or breaking loose for a long run or td pass.

Which of course points to coaching.

I’ll meet you half way. I agree with this statement but the more I’ve watched the more I believe we’re a lot further behind in talent than I originally thought and I won’t blame that lack of talent on coaching.

Guys, no coach already here is going to turn this team around. Change HAS to start with Jerry himself. Bring a coach in from outside and step aside. Otherwise it's going to stay the way it is...
