I didnt see the option listed, but I would tag him...…….sorry Dak, but if you want Russel Wilson money you cant lose to every team over 500

I know your coaching sucks, that is why I am willing to tag you and let you play next year under a new head coach to see if you get any better. But if what I am seeing out there right now is your A-game, well that aint gonna cut it.
Wow. There’s a whole lot of people here that don’t remember the black hole of quarterback play in the years between Aikman to Romo. Dak is a keeper.

Depends on numbers.

Agreed. I'd say it depends on the numbers and who is coaching next year. If we, God-forbid, keep Garrett for another year, then I'd have to say no on extending Dak for his health. I believe in Dak. I think he is a very good QB. I really think he's an excellent player. He played poorly today, but Garrett makes it so hard to know for sure with how horrid of a coach he is. I just want Garrett gone. I'll worry about QB when we get a new HC. I think Greg Roman or Urban Meyer, for example, would do very well with Dak. But, the Starting QB position depends on what they want.

Dak is the least of our problems. He had a bad game today, but all QBs have a bad games from time to time. Unfortunately too many here believe that the QB for the Dallas Cowboys have to be perfect every game.

Dak has earned his new contract, whatever it may be.

I agree with this as well. I do believe in Dak. I just think he'd be in a bad spot for his health if Garrett is given another year. If Garrett isn't fired, then Dak should take his talents to a better coach. Chicago would be a good landing spot for him if Garrett stays.

I honestly don’t know what the Dak haters want to see. The fact of the matter is the Cowboys have NEVER had a Brees, Brady, Rodgers, or Mahomes caliber QB in franchise history. Those players are rare and a majority of the league has avg QBs when compared. Dak was a 4th Round after thought pick. He’s outperformed his draft stock dramatically. He plays winning football as his (38-22) record shows. He does make the throws. The question is can our receivers catch. We have the most drops in the league and it has directly contributed to Daks int count.

My answer isn't there.

Franchise tag him.

I think I've seen enough....the accuracy just isn't there.....nor the discipline to work on his craft. He says all the right things...but then he reverts back to who he is. Making impulsive plays...like the INT to the D-lineman on the screen pass today. He rarely runs anymore because he wants to convince people he is a pocket passer. That's ego....and we don't need that in a franchise player.

Plus...I still think he isn't that smart. How dumb do you gotta be knowing your playing in a rainstorm .....and not practice that week wearing the equipment (gloves) you would be using?

No brainer .. Tag him. Top 5 money is better than top 1 or 2 money. Plus you give the new HC a chance to make him better and/or evaluate him for a full year.

Price can't go much higher than he's looking for now.

I want him to get a contract, just not anywhere near 35 mil per. If Dallas don't make the playoffs with him, they can do the same without him. The only differing opinion I have is that I'd Transition tag him.

Let’s see how he bounces back.. he’s looked lost the last two games. No swagger, no confidence. He’ll be cheaper if he stinks up the joint.

Put him under a HC that actually gives a crap and we’ll see. He’s shown flashes of greatness, but that’s all they are. Flashes. He’s improved significantly as well, but I want development under a coherent coaching staff. Tag him. If not, cut em loose (sorry dak)

That new coach would be Urban Meyer. :D
