I am just done

How do you waltz into half time with a TO in your pocket. We don't have a 2 minute offense.

The same way you only get 3 plays off against AZ with 1:05 and 2 TO and somehow you burn only one TO after you clock the ball to set up for a FG. and take the other TO home.

Or we could look at the Balt game the following year, or many more

It is what I have come to refer to as a "a Bold Strategy Cotton" time management move

Amen.

Garrett got the position because he was part of Jerry good ol' boys club, has a good education, a famous daddy, and sounded super smart.

And despite proving himself a fraud, Jerry stands by him. Which proves Josh's point even more that Garrett got and kept the position for reasons other than football

Um, a few of us have said this about Garrett since about 2008. He was always a backroom politician and smiling pr man more than a coach.

But you had to observe and think for yourself and ignore the complicit media's sales job. They're the ones who told us how important standing at PCs and all the other superficial crap was in being a football coach. (Shout out to Newy who was about the only media person skeptical from the start.)

so frustrating that everyone on earth can see the ineptness of Garrett and yet, Mr "I can be #6 in business but not on this field" can't see it....once again, we are done and it is November - does anyone actually feel like, even if we take the division, that we would even sniff a chance at beating Seattle in the first round? please, they can't beat the bills at home (or even be close), how are they gonna beat Seattle? besides, the eagles don't have a choice but to run the table with their remaining schedule (other than Dallas)...thus, we are done with Garrett at the helm ONCE AGAIN

This dude is confusing Jason Garrett with Jerry Jones
Yep

I’d ask Jerry why he named Jason “ the future of the Dallas Cowboys” as OC before he even hired Wade.

And then why has Jerry supported and stayed with Garrett ?

Garrett is just an extension of Jerry pulling the strings. It’s why he doesn’t publicly respond to these outcries.

The face of the Cowboys is front and center and will want credit if it succeeds and is ultimately responsible if it fails.

Jerry sees it too. It’s why he calls it out publicly.

Jerry knows that his control over football operations and not willing to have a great HC is hurting his franchise but he doesn’t care enough to get out of the way.

Jerry only wants to win his way.

The red flags were there for all to see but everyone just wanted the skeptics to suspend their disbelief. It was very apparent early on that he had no feel for the game, didn't know how to close out multiple games with second half leads and had horrendous clock management. Excuses, excuses and more excuses. Folks were just bad fans who didn't support the team.

Hey Lab, remember when people compared his record to Landry's early years, all the while refusing to take into account that Landry started as a HC for an expansion team with no draft picks? Or Belichik in Cleveland? Embarrassing........

I'm sure Jason is a genius, just not at his actual job. He learned through keen observation that Jerry and Co. need their egos stroked more than anything.

Jerry is crying because he's realizing he can't sell the snake oil that is Jason for one more season and might have to hire someone who will make him look like the football idiot he really is.

Why didn't Josh bring up his heated opinions to Garrett 1to1 when he worked at their media complex as a writer? All talk, afraid to show his real face when he was employed there. What a shock.
Everyone gets heart behind their keyboard he’s a coward. This whole media should’ve addressed all this stuff to Garretr when they see him and Jerry too but they won’t.
