Anyone know why we ran Zeke so little?

Well if it started the game Jason Garrett had his mouthpiece up around his ear later in the game he had it down in front of his mouth and he was speaking so I don't know for sure but I got a pretty good guess

im not seeing a declining Zeke, im seeing bad oline blocking and scheming etc..EE was running with passion and looked like the Eagles/Giants running the Miami game etc etc at one point first qtr he ws averaging over 9YPC and yet we let dak implode..he also is weapon in the pass game and 2 passes that late were so bad he could get to it..simple pass to the flats with a little air under it toward the pylon thats a walk in TD.. Dak pulled the string on it..horrible

Zeke maybe not his rookie self but ive said this for weeks hes still a weapon and yet well between the oline, scheme , and bad play calls, its the reason hes top 7 vs top 3, its not like hes disappeared..

he could have went for 150 tonight on the ground but they let Dak take control..Dude was breaking tackles, trucking people, and had some vision back.. id say his being dead was overblown..

This is what a lot wanted. Less slow drives, more explosive plays in the passing game

Well for some opponents that is ok, but each one is different, and under jg they tend to try the same stuff each week lol.
They need to adjust to each opponent and then adjust again early in the game.
In this last bills game the run was working, but they abandoned it. And just way too much passing.

Coaches egos are too fragile and they've let the criticism creep in. They got blasted for continuing to pound it in games when it clearly wasn't working or going to. Now they're overcompensating with the pass and trying to force touches with Pollard. They look clueless and half the players look as if they quit or zoned out!

I hate hearing the "we were behind" argument. Falling behind 2 scores in the NFL isn't an abandon the run requirement. Comebacks are based on defense stops. You have to score, of course, but you have to make stops. We can't do that, you know, bend and break and all that. Running with Zeke, when it's working, can be a perfectly good comeback strategy of the sense could make a stop

It actually doesn't matter. We are 2-2 when Zeke has fewer than 15 carries. We are 3-3 when he has more than 20. Zeke has made no difference this year. He's been mediocre.

The FG unit and defense screwed the pooch. And the offense isn't good enough against elite defenses to overcome that nonsense. I won't get into the coaching.

We have become a pass happy offense
Zeke has struggled the majority of the year - sometimes poor oline play
Takes him self out after big plays - like ***
The running plays called are atrociously bad - so basic and generic the defense are not fooled

For this game we got to far behind. We should have ran Zeke into the ground the first half when it was working

Zeke didn't get a touch with about 9 min left in the 3rd quarter thru the end of the game - that is criminal - he was on pace for 150+ total yards - THAT is coaching -
