Let me start by saying a lot of this is based on an admitted if
BUT:
IF the first 3 games were truly Moore Offense and then JG dabbled his fingers in the pie then what we need is defense master mind at HC to guide our DF and ST and let Moore handle OC.
IMHO
Agree. Landry was a D master, who took that knowledge and used it to build an O that could take advantages of the D. Parcells also of the D vintage. Garrett was a backup
QB who like a professor can sound good but shackles us with his 90's tendency in the 2000 era game.
How many times are we going to hear " just do this" as they will " do that". Moore to me at least mixes things up with motion and the O can move the ball when we get away
from the Garrett tendencies.
Read somewhere that we use a scripted 15 play sheet for beginnings of games. No wonder we are sluggish. The opposition does their analytics . ( we don't use those) and
knows the tendencies.
No wonder we come alive later in games, and Garretts play sheet isn't in play, until he goes into the keep it tight and win at the end mode.
Jimmy J would " crush" when given the chance. Garrett finds comfort in losing games under 7 points... That way it looks like we are progressing
