I like what Randall Cobb is doing but hes in the same boat as Beasely. Beasely had the highest open rate and catch rate in the Entire League here with us and he was just utilized as a spot player on 3rd down. If your te passing scheme doesnt yield ya any points against any good opponents in the RED ZONE then other skilled players NEED TO BE UTILIZED.
We want #82 to lead this no good Te core on Blocking plays but Jerrah and Jason has to abort the te dominant passing formations until they find a clutch te that can go up and get a ball and beat top defenders. AND THE BLITZ!!!
Tbh Ive seen enough of Blake Jarwin, Dalton Schultz, Gavin Escobar, James Hanna, Geoff Swaim, john phillips and even Jason Witten over the past 5-10 years to KNOW IN MY HEART THAT THEY CAN CONTRIBUTE YES BUT THEY CANNOT SCORE AND WERE NOT DOMINATING THE LEAGUE IN RUSHING TDS EITHER. WE SUCK AT SCORING BECAUSE OUR TE CORE CANNOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM BENCHMARKS FOR THE NUMBER OF PASSING SNAPS THEY PLAY.
I WANT TO SEE MY DALLAS COWBOYS PUT THEIR 5 FASTEST WRS AND RUNNING BACKS ON THE FIELD AND UTILIZE AN ALPHA DOG THAT CAN GO UP AND GET A BALL IN THE RED ZONE.
I WOULD RATHER USE AN EXTRA OLINEMAN AND MAKE TYRON SMITH AN ELIGIBLE RECEIVER IN THE RED ZONE OVER ANY TE THATS PLAYED FOR US IN 5 YEARS. ID TAKE LVE, SEAN LEE, ZACK MARTIN AT TE OVER #82 OR JARWIN IN THE RED ZONE. THOSE GUYS MAKE PROVEN PLAYS ON PAPER THAT WIN GAMES BUT THESE TES ARE LIKE GOING TO A GUN FIGHT WITH A SIX SHOOTER W 2 BLANKS IN THE CYLINDER.
