Your first bold statement was wrong

Your second one is wrong too

And there is no way Jason Garrett is coming back. You can forget about that. It's not even worth bringing up

Well I am also right, because we have not made it there either. 23 years.

The Cowboys and the Ben-gals....the only two teams where the owner also serves as GM. Somehow, the other 30 teams’ owners think that’s a bad idea. And those other owners have won the last 23 SBs.

Go figure.

I did not know this fact. That is very telling. But then again this team/franchise don’t use analytics to make decisions.

This is based on if Jason Garrett is extended. As we know senile Jerry just may do that.

2 years ago I made a statement, and got blasted for it, and still do.
I said after the 2017 season that the Browns are closer to a SB than the Cowboys.
I am still sticking to that, and they are much better now than then. They are on the upswing. Their issue also has been coaching. However they show they are willing to make a change to try to improve upon that.

Maybe Kitchens is the guy, maybe not, but if not, they will at least make a change, unlike the delusional senile guy in charge in Dallas.

So now I will say this. The Bengals may even be closer to a SB than Dallas, IF Jason stays, as we will never be better than they are now.
At least the Bengals made a coaching change finally, and I do not think they will give Taylor 16 years to prove he is the guy. Like they did Lewis.

Bengals will get some high draft picks, and they need to replace Dalton, but they will trade for more picks or select Chase Young. Which I hope they do.

Now get a new coaching staff, I will change my opinion about the Bengals, maybe the Browns depending on who the coach is.
Ok blast away at this one too, or heck maybe many will agree this time.

I remember you saying that I didn't think it was that far off

I don't think so either but this is Jerry Jones. Let's say they sneak in at 9-7 or even 8-8. I can see it now...they somehow beat the #5 seed 49ers and Jerry will get giddy and extend him.

Nope. None of that will even be close.

I have absolutely no idea how you can feel this way. Just because Jerry refuses to fire Jason mid-season, which we all knew wouldn't happen anyway, doesn't mean anything. Jerry has already come out and said Jason has to win the super bowl...we all know that is not happening. He's gone. It's over. The only question is will Jerry hire a real coach or will he hire another puppet.
Garrett is like Jerry's Son. No other owner has a relationship with a coach like that. Although I think Garrett's gone I wouldn't bet money on it.

It's different now than it was in 2010 when Jerry claimed Wade was safe then fired him a week later. Jerry was never that close to Wade and never gave him a tearful broke back mountain speech proclaiming his love like he did yesterday to Garrett.

Believe the press all you want, but yesterday told me JG was much closer to getting an extension (for doing a terrible job, no less) than he is to being sent packing.
Scary stuff!!!
