Young thornhill is starting and producing while swill hill wallows on the inactive list.

Juan Thornhill runs 4.42 ( same as Amari) with a 44 inches vertical and was there when we picked hill. Not only is rod a bad dc, he’s bad at picking talent. He needs to just coach the d- line.

Josh Jones 6-1, 220, 4.41 forty

Jeff Heath 6-1, 209, 4.48 forty

Measurables don't prove anything.

Do you think the Cowboys did not look at Thornhill's measurables...

More the fact that he's been late to meetings and the like. He's not doomed but the way the seasons gone for him so far. Who knows. He's a project player.

New coaching and scheme will help a lot.
Or it should, or hope it does.

Typically I would agree with you, but here you have one player making impact plays nearly every week while the other is typically inactive on game day. We can give 3 years, but after 12 games the gap between the two is enormous.
So because another player on another team does better right now, give up on Trysten?
Word.

I’m a real believer in the 3 year rule
But when a guy is a healthy scratch week after week it does make you wonder why
Of course it does.
I also wonder why Marinelli does a lot of things.

How do you know Rod was responsible for the pick?

I'm not giving up on hill, but I am giving up on the idea that he turns out to be better than thornhill. Someone around the league may give josh Rosen another chance, but I doubt anyone would say hes a better player than lamar jackson.

Rod has never drafted a player for the Cowboys and we got better on defense every year on defense until Kris came to Dallas and started calling players

His ceiling is position coach. For that matter, so is Richard’s.
