If Amari Cooper is intent upon playing at 15 lbs. heavier, perhaps he'd do well to improve his conditioning to accommodate that increased size. The injuries that he's experiencing might be less frequent if his body gets somewhat better accustomed to the extra weight. Just a thought. It's up to the players now to make up for the CBA restrictions that limit their readiness to compete.

Last year cooper beat lattimore when they played. This year he shut him down. Maybe the size took away some burst. I don’t like him being 225 when he doesn’t play physical. Lattimore and Gilmore got physical with him. He out weighs both by 15 plus pounds.
He whooped Lattimore. The penalties were both bs and there were other plays where he was open and just didn't get hte ball.

But I do agree he plays too heavy. Dallas should be using him like Stefon Diggs and, God forbid, scheme him open every now and again. It's easy to be Gilmore or Lattimore when you know what play they're running all day.

Had to laugh at the Cowboys aren't stupid part, you sure about that?
Given the context (managing cap in order to pay someone you want to keep) no there absolutely not dumb and know how to do it without going into cap hell which most teams do

Zeke , and cooper are enough. Once we get a real chance, they’ll both set career highs.
I think the games that they have already played was already a huge chance.

I suppose Cooper will be gone by the end of the season , too expensive .

False. The cap goes up constantly. They have plenty of room. You think they make that trade if they had no room at all to keep him long term? It's just a matter how much they value him. But giving up a 1st rd pick, I hope they keep him. That pick would have been top 10 had we not traded for him. This team was dead in the water before he came here. We only had the finish to the season because of him.

Considering he is playing at a high level, he can play at whatever weight he wants as long as the production continues.

Cowboys have 22 million dollars rolling over to next year, removing Crawford saves another 8 million. Also you factor in

1. The cap will go up close to 10 million if not more
and
2. They'll give Amari a large prorated signing bonus which will push the money farther down the contract when the cap will be an additional 25-30 million higher

Cowboys aren't stupid, they know how to play the system (if they want to pay key players they'll find a way)
Cowboys aren’t stupid? How do you explain 10 years of Garrett?

I personally think Amari has been a real asset to the team... He has done a complete turnaround from what he did in Oakland... When I first heard he was coming to the Cowboys, I had a lot of doubts (considering how crappy he was in Oakland). Dude couldn't even catch a cold in Oakland.... No I'm not saying he's the best wide receiver. I'm just simply noting the complete turnaround that he has made since joining the Cowboys....

He played most of his career at 210. This year he’s 225. Do you think that’s too big for him? I’d rather he stay around 210
No wonder his feet are bothering him. I think Dallas should bring these guys into training camp and test their speed
