I guess you can't handle what pappy is saying the signs are everywhere.
Lol. 3 straight winning seasons, 2 playoff births, reached divisional round twice, should have reached the NFC Championship game at least once if not for the crooked officials, has put up very good playoff stats while keeping the team competitive, and is currently the league's passing leader and in the top 10 in arguably every stat with another chance to win the division and lead the team to a 3rd playoff trip in 4 years.

Yeah, keep those blinders on. You guys are only looking more foolish as time goes by.

I would pause if I found myself agreeing with this troll. He is a joke around here. He’s that crazy dude who roams around the park and the local teenagers torment just to watch him get fired up. Seriously. There are a few trolls on this board that take extremist views and only post this nonsense. No objective analysis from him.

if I ever find myself agreeing with one of these extremist trolls I would pull back a bit from these thoughts. I don’t take you as one of these posters.
Its fine by me.

I like all points of view becuz none of us are right all of the time.

The Prescott experiment is a failure.
GM Jerry goofed big time when he thought he had found lighting in a bottle with a 4th round comp pick and let a true Franchise QB walk away.
4 years later our offense and esp our passing game against good defense is non-existent and kicking FG is now a way of life for us.
The sooner this FO realizes the above and moves on the better.
Year 5 coming up and I don't know about you guys but since his rookie year Dak is a DUD!
Now you go right ahead and blame the coaching, offline,Zeke, defense, but in the end without a quality QB we are just spinning our Cowboy spurs!
FG anyone?????

P.S. There is bright side so far as they haven't given Dak that new mega-deal and by the looks of things worst case is another year with the tag for him and then he's gone as year 5 will be just like last 4 years.

You do realize Prescott has had as much playoff success as the undrafted franchise QB they let walk? Lol

The team finally got a good offensive line and running back and some how Dak is great, except against teams with a winning record.

They got the formula working like a fine Swiss watch.
When Dak beats up dead teams they praise him to the Moon.
Now when we fall flat on our faces when facing real defense and winning records and end up scoring FG after FG and lose 12-10 its everyone's fault except Dak's.
Easy as pie here.

P.S. Don't forget Dak's favorite thing to do which is to pad his stats in Garbage time!

The video in the OP brings up an interesting point. Goff got his money. Wentz got his money. Is either team particularly happy about that right now? Are they really what people want to use as a baseline?

IMO, the Cowboys can win with Dak as QB. He has been among the least of Dallas' problems this year. The defense sucks. The o-line can pass block but not run block. Zeke is struggling. The coaching has been piss poor. I think if you put a good team around Dak with good coaching, the team could make a serious run.

The issue is that Dak really isn't a game changer. He isn't one of the top 5 QB's. Arguments could be made for top 10. He is down to 11th in rating. He was 14th last year, 18th before that.
The counter point is that you are probably going to struggle to replace him. Being the 11th best human being on the planet at being quarterback isn't exactly easy to replace. If you just dump him, it might be a bit before you find a replacement of his talent level.

Its ironic but the Dak supporters pointing out just how bad everyone else is on the team works against Dak. If Zeke is cooked. If the O-line is done. If the defense is beyond repair . . . . why exactly do you lock yourself into a middle of the pack QB for 5 or more years?

All signs point to the franchise tag. Personally, I would give him the non exclusive. If some team wants to give Dak $35m per year, let them. I'll take the two first rounders and start trying to rebuild the team around a new coach. I tend to agree with the Dak supporters in saying the overall team isn't as good as was purported. Dallas isn't on the cusp of being a dynasty or something.

He expresses how I feel.

I am not ever phased by minor facts being off like others.

I do not have researchers nor the time to do all that. Or fact check minor mistakes in order to qualify an opinion.

I am just a fan with an opinion like you.

Besides, the video is about Dak..not Brady.

If you were producing commentary intended to be viewed on the web or TV, I'll give you credit and assume you'd fact check a major premise of your argument.

Dak has been both brilliant and bad enough to give you pause; however he has improved. The guy is getting paid, it’s what his position demands. People need to get past that and remember the cap is going to increase.
Thank you.
