Great point, but the same few posters know more than the Texans, Titans and the Cowboy’s staff . They act like he is some hidden talent that has never had a chance to start in the league.

No. The problem is that our only other option is Connor Williams............who wouldn't be much use in Houston or Tennessee either.

Xavier has played only 1 game while the Connor played 11 and in 7 of those games he has cost penalty or whiffed on a block that cost this team a TD.
He’s a better run blocker, but Williams is a better pass blocker. When connner gets beat, he gets walked back into the qb. Xavier gets beat with speed. They blow by him. Conners man takes longer to get to the qb that way. We’re a running team. I’d rather have Xavier. Play jarwin at h-back and let him chip xaviers man.

We have a very undereducated fan base.

It is like they all share a collective brain that is just deficient.

We also have a lot of master of the obvious fans, who think they see everything about players they don't know much about.

I think the funniest thing is how fans talking about how other fans don't know much usually have an over-inflated sense about how much they actually know.

Hate to hear the news for Connor but having Xavier as the starting LG will solidify the offensive line.

This team will go on 4-0 run with this offense now having the ability to pass protect and run block at elite level.

Speedy recovery for Connor!
Sua'filo is not that good. He gets beat inside or bullrushed 8+ yards into Dak too often. I bet Looney would play better.

Little bit of overreaction, he held is guy for about 4 sec it was more of a coverage sack/fumble.

He did start in Detroit game where there was no sack given up, and Dak slung it around for 400 yds.

Connor has had 10+ games to prove he is not a starting a LG. Xavier is just getting started, last year with Amari went on a winning streak.

Connor is not an All-Pro, but he is a young improving OG. He has the potential to become a very good lineman.

This is his 3rd straight year having knee surgery and 5th overall surgery since his sophmore year of college.

Playing out of position and being injury prone doesn't really give me a strong sense that he will be a long term starter. I personally think a new coach staff will bring in veterans to battle for that spot in the off-season + McGovern will have a strong shot at getting 1st team reps after being red shirted this year

But not better than Xavier

Light years better but that's really not saying much. Su'a is not a great OG. Very limited and suited for basically one thing. He's really a RG rather then a LG IMO. He's an anchor guy and sometimes he even struggles with that if he's matched up against a strong quick DT. He can get backed up pretty good. I know, you don't believe any of it but it's cool.

Check the Detroit game out, might clear your foggy homer glasses.

@JonJon

LOL, you mean that horrible Detroit defense that was missing defensive linemen and didn't have their starting quarterback to keep them off the field?
