Is it me or does it seem like after a couple of years of mellowing from Jerry that he's back to being an unstable egomaniac this season?

- He made the combine all about him with Garrett contract talk.
- He made the preseason all about him vs Zeke. For the most part, the noise was coming from Jerry's side.
- He called into the flagship radio station to rip a radio host who was critical of him.
- Despite Dak/Amari remaining mum about their future deals, Jerry continues to discuss the topic openly to the media.
- Rips the coaches after the Patriots game. Players like Zach Martin and Travis Frederick called it "outside noise".
- Cries after the Buffalo game...who does that?
- Now he's opining about Jason and his future, gaslighting the fanbase by asserting Garrett will be coaching in the league next year.

The guy is just on a huge ego trip this season. Idk why I thought he was making progress.

I think the fans saw what they wanted to see but didnt see the reality of it. same as JGs coaching.

Hes a businessman before anything you need profit and hes done just that

he knows theres more money in hating the cowboys than liking them.....

look at the Cowboys....#1 talked about in sports all across the world

now imo

i want a superbowl and i want Garrett gone asap

I truly feel that there's some dementia involved in JJ's line of thought. Some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth is actually getting to be sad. Him in tears the other night is pathetic as a team GM and owner. I'm sure even Stephen cringes at times hearing his interviews and of course JG will never say anything since he's going to ride out the gravy train until he's forced out. Then JG will write a book and plenty of other crap will come out. This whole organization is sitting on a volcano of changes in the next few years (I hope).

His decisions and the way he operates puts this team at a major disadvantage. It sucks but it is true.

He never changed, he was just a me to hide it during the lean 8-8 seasons. However just like the impending success of Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells, Jerry couldn't help himself.

The moment the Cowboys became relevent, Jerry could no longer control himself. Worried that he might miss out on some credit, he jumped in to "help" and that was the monkey wrench.

Once again, Jerry's interference has destroyed this team's potential.

This is what I think. He really became visible the last two games after losing to the Pats and Bills.

Like you said, I think it's desperation. He knows he has an excellent roster, and they're losing. He also knows he desperately wants to keep comfy Jason in place, but he might be forced to hire a new coach. So he's feeling panicky.

IMO he was trying motivation the last two weeks. First he tried calling out the team, and that didn't work. So he switched to the over-positive optimistic Jerry he usually is.

He literally over ruled his coach publicly on evaluating the kicking positioning . It happened this week . He’s as bad as he’s ever been and the reason the team has been mediocre for almost a quarter century now .
