How do you figure? I honestly would love to hear what makes you think that he's nothing outside of a recruiter.
His initial records at schools, when he first came in, would suggest otherwise.

This makes sense.
Because Jimmy could that means Meyer is good. Please excuse the vast majority of college coaches who fail in the NFL.

That’s with the luxury of hindsight. You couldn’t find 1 person out of 1000 that thought Jimmy was the answer by game 10 of 1989.

I watched Urban at Florida, and I watched him at Ohio State ...including doubled over half the time his last year. I just don't see how the two personalities (Jerry and Urban) make any sense. Urban.....well it's HIS team. How do you think Jerry handles THAT?
Urban is GREAT for the kids. A great coach, great person good role model. For the NFL? I dunno...I don't see it.
Yes....Urban had to deal with AD's and Alumni, especially at tOSU....and the press. And, it gave him brain seizures (or whatever) and his demise as well. I get it, you guys like the bling of a college winner...legend really...he;s the one that broke bama. But....gotta break it down a bit....and it doesn't translate well. I don't think I'd mind The Great Experiment, but I'd feel sorry for Urban.

I think Meyer could win with this team thats in Dallas now. The talent and the skills they have are similar to what they have in Ohio State.
