It’s a minor misdemeanor, but the felony tampering is BS. Who wouldn’t put out a smoke when seeing lights flashing behind them. He told the officer he did it. Not excusing him, but that tampering charge is garbage.

These guys get paid enough to have someone tell them to get a medical hemp card. Most places aren't even training K-9's to spot marijuana these days. I just got done with a training saying unless you get an admission that it's marijuana you can't even arrest.
