This may be the most important game in 13 years

Man I hope you are correct. I am so ready to see somebody else at the helm of this ship. As a fan though, I still want to see my boys win it all! But that is soooo tempered this year by the very real fear that if by some miracle it were to happen that Jerry would give JG that new contract!

And that has just made for the weirdest experience for me this year...

Too many Jerry-friendly media types are beyond talking about Garrett's "hot seat" and are now speculating about replacements.

The same people that advanced Jerry's leaked PR about Moore being an offensive genius before he named him as an OC. Moore as OC went from what people though was a joke, to people actually clamoring for Jerry to pick him as OC. That was no accident.

This thread title could have been used the last two weeks and will likely be re-usable the next two weeks.

Tonight's game may well decide the fate of the Cowboys legacy moving forward;
If the Cowboys win, it could restore their confidence enough to make a run at the NFC East title, giving Jerry a reason to extend Jason Garrett's contract.
But if they lose, tonight may end Garrett's tenure in Dallas and a new chance for the Cowboys to return to the greatness of the past.
I really think a loss tonight- especially if the Cowboys don't play well- will cause Jerry to be forced to make a change.

Rams playoff game was more important. Garrett is gone no matter if win or lose.

If the Cowboys win, everyone will say they still haven;t beaten a team with a winning record. If they lose, well, I think you know what will hapen next. But in truth, this game is not important as far as winning the division is concerned. Even if they win the next two games, if the Eagles win the next two it still comes down to the the last two games.

I agree. This could be the turning point. There always is one. But you just don't know at the time. Nobody does. Nobody knows at the time. It's only later. When you look back and you can see................that was the moment it all turned around.

Wow!!!! In 4 hours we could be on our way. Incredible.

We’ve been saying this every December of Garrett’s tenure. We are literally in the same position every year.

Well, they certainly didn't play well, and this game is over. What now?

I guess we'll see tomorrow. Unfortunately the Cowboys got 10 garbage time points, so Jerry can claim they never quit.
The truth is they never showed up.

If Jerry can live past 100, I think we can win another Super Bowl.
