Maher mucks up the strategy many ways. He misses a field goal each game, he has a strong leg but doesn't consistently get touch backs, he kicks off out of bounds. Heck even our punter is not thumping the ball well.

Multiple teams are in situations where there FG kickers suck. The Pats were working with Nick Folk who missed multiple FGs and the Bills I think missed an extra point.

That aint how the NFL works...……..if the Bears didnt have a big lead, they would have kept trying to score and play defense instead of prevent.

This game was a blowout, the final score only looks close because of a couple of late tack it on points in garbage time.

According to who? Which source? Jerry publicly backing Maher is the same as publicly backing his coaches and everybody else.

they actually worked out three kickers last week. Aikman was covering for Garrett while totally not mentioning that they worked out three kickers within the last two weeks.

Trying really hard is the expectation. I’m sure he tried his best so he can sleep well knowing his job is safe and sound as long as he wore his suit on the trip back from Chicago.
