Where we could expect a minimum 4 or 5 yards on a basic run play.

Last year seems like such a long time ago.

Didn’t you hear the analysts tell us that we are a passing team now and that Witten was excited about how we are now a downfield passing attack that will throw the ball and air it out..

They sure showed us!

Just a few seconds into the 4th quarter Zeke had over 80 yards, 2 TDS, and was averaging close to 5 yards a carry. Had the game called for more running instead of being a route the running stats would have looked pretty good and that’s against a good defense. The run game is down this year because of being behind so often early in the game. (7 games so far)

The fans here wanted Linehan fired and Jerry appeased the fans.
But Linehan knew Prescott's limitations and ran the offense Zeke strong.
For whatever it was worth it moved the chains and kept our defense on the bench.
Now all teams know our secret stop Zeke and have Prescott beat you with his arm.
He cannot.....unless its a garbage team or he's busy padding his stats in garbage time.
He is the Garbage QB and unfortunately for us, he has the Star on his helmet!

Posted here that Moore at some point would be the new scape-goat and this has now become a reality.
No matter how good the Jockey is if the Horse is only for making glue you ain't winning the Kentucky derby!

No , Lenehan would go away from the run and start throwing the ball

Agreed. Zeke averaged 4.3 ypc last night. Not great but also not too shabby but that was heavily influenced by his one splash play of 31 yards. Remove that and his average drops to 2.8 ypc on 18 attempts. Too many runs are for short or no gains which puts us behind the chains.

it also doesn’t help Zeke seems to have a stamina issue now where he takes himself out of the game too often.

Well you will be hoping for a long time as this run game is a shell of its former self!

Zeke went from being a top 5 back to a top 20 and I can only suspect he will get worse next year.

Zeke was on his way to having a hundred yards in the first half, then we just went away from running the ball. Aikman kept talking about that same thing happened on Thanksgiving. The running game helps our passing game, some teams the passing game helps their run game.
I have not lost faith in Dak or Zeke or our WRs, but I have lost faith in the OLINE and the defense oh and special teams they continue to make mistakes

KMoore play calling is becoming like his playing days in the NFL......overmatched. He has given hope for the journeyman QBs.....Mark Sanchez should apply for an OC job and there a future for a Case Keenum.

No, it's Jason Garrett's offense and he never left the building.

It has always been Garrett’s offense. But if Garrett was calling the plays we wouldn’t have went away from the running game Zeke would’ve had 150yds.
Linehan just like Moore gives up on the run when it’s working too quick

The stamina issue comes from him getting fat on his big contract.
That and the fact he doesn’t care like the rest of the overhyped clowns on this team.
Hope #4 chokes on his soup

Y'all got what y'all wanted. Dak was criticized for passing for less than 300 yards while winning. Now he's criticized for passing for more than 300 yards while losing. We go away from the run whenever it is working and this is the result. I don't blame Dak or Zeke. It's coaching.
