Last couple weeks I have givin him the benefit of doubt since appears to have improved but all I got out of it was fools gold. Dak really does pad his stats in garbage time. Dak has the cold streaks that last way too long in critical situations. This is what you get when you go cheap at QB. Heck when is the last time Dak came out and shredded a decent opponent. People see the defense crumbling but they seem to be blind that Dak continually going 3 and out isnt helping matters.
This team will not win anything with Dak as the QB.
So glad that people are finally coming around.

In the first half of the season, he was top 5 against trash teams and people screamed he was elite and deserved 40 mil. The second second half of the season, he’s top 10-15 and a franchise QB. So by that logic and the way his play is tending, by the end of the season he should be 15-20, so will you still proclaim him as a franchise QB who deserves a big payday? When will people see that he’s nothing more than a bus driver, who when everything is right, can hang with the best of them, but as soon as that pressure hits, becomes a mix of Donovan Mcnabb and Rex Grossman.

Anyone defending Dak's performance last night needs to get their rose colored glasses cleaned. How many terrible throws were there?

Dallas' defense is so bad its actually making Dak look good. What I mean by that is when the score is close, Dak is really struggling. The defense is giving up so much AND allowing yardage that the Cowboys offense is routinely getting the ball on their own 20 down by 15+ against a soft prevent defense. There are a LOT of quarterbacks that could put up a LOT of yards in those situations.

I would love to see Dak's first half stats since the 3-0 start. I bet they are horrible.

He is somewhere just outside of the top 10 of NFL QBs.

Not elite, but still above average.

4 years into his career he has never been able to sustain greatness long enough to be elite.

He is a slightly above average QB, and that is it. If you watched the first 3 quarters and didn't find his accuracy an issue, I don't know what to tell you....

Are there 10 better QBs in the league though?

Franchise tag is $35mil. I'm not sure I'm willing to do that. Half the time will be gone.

Perhaps it’s too optimistic for me
To believe he can develop beyond that.

End of the day. I am a cowboys fan. Believe me when I say. I just want whats best for the cowboys.

There is a reason I’m not paid to be a GM. Although I am almost as qualified as Jerry and Stephen Jones.
You may be more qualified than SJ and I am pretty sure you are more qualified than JJ, I am not a Dak fan but where does this marvelous replacement some are asking for come from. JJ has backed himself into a corner with Dak and I just hope he does not pay Dak top money. JJ is stubborn we may see JG as coach again next year and that scares me more than the Dak problem. Dak has good tools but it still appears his draft profile is correct.

Hes one of the reasons. He had 110 yards well into the 4th quarter and wasnt even completing 50% of his passes before garbage time. He did nothing since the opening drive except provide 3 and outs and great field position for the Bears offense

And Romo looked like trash when the team quit on Wade.
Thats what happens.
But I can tell by your sig you will not be intellectually honest about anything related to Dak.

there dream of dak being their savor and to keep blaming romo is funny. naw pathetic is more like it.

Sadly its a pattern we see after Dakota has to play a good defense. It makes it seem that their main reason for loving on Dak is that hes their NON-Romo.

The Romo era ended long ago and Dakotas era is on the way out

I could give 2 craps on what Romo did or didnt do. Im for the Right Now

Very tough question. Even though we live in a world where the latest guy that comes up in Free agency gets the largest contract. I don't agree with it.
If you go by the market, Dak will get 35 per year. I don't like the idea of the franchise tag because it just kicks the can down the road and from a salary cap perspective it is too risky to have Dak & Cooper reaching free agency.
Is Wentz or Goff worth what they are paid? I would rather pay Cam 20 million then Dak 35-40.
Positives are: He is intelligent, great leader, relatively clutch, good enough arm. I would never say he is as good as Wilson, Rogers, Watson, Brady, Mahomes, Brees, etc, etc
He is the best QB of the 2016 draft and we got him in the 4th round. We should have signed him early but the reason we didn't is because we have an incompetent front office.
