With the OL struggles all year..

frankly I expected more from the OL this year.

Especially with Beard back and Conner William's gets his first year behind him and Witten returning to help block.

But that has not been the case

So buy or sell.

Columbo is the answer?

How do you feel about him replacing Alexander going forward?

I am getting suspicious about the constant hype that they are a top OL.

Buy or sell that, too.

Sell! The offensive line has been horrible all year. He can go with all the rest of them.

Not sure if he’s buy or sell, but the OL from a personnel standpoint is one of the best in the league and has given up the least amount of sacks, among the least in QB hits, all the while Dak is leading the league in passing attempts with our long-developing passing routes. There is a reason why we were the most successful team on third down conversions, because Dak is given all day to throw. Most QBs would kill to play behind the line Dak is playing under.

Of course Dak homers completely ignore this reality.

Every current coach should be fired.

Anything else is more of the same, repeated acceptance of mediocrity.

I want all of the staff fired. Gary Brown, O'Quinn, Columbo, even Kitna (sorry, but Dak has regressed these past 3 games. Makes no sense for him to suddenly fall of a cliff like this and revert to his 2017 self). No one should be safe from the coaching purge.

Why does everyone say the O line is struggling. The Rb's are running for about 4.5 yards a carry. The QB on most plays has all day to throw. The team has the #1 Offense in the NFL. Just because the QB stands there and stands there because he is afraid to throw into a tight window & is slow on his reads has nothing to do with the O line.

Any shortcomings with the the Offense begin and end with the QB.

Romo had a good O line 2 years out of his whole career.... those 2 years the Cowboys went 12-4 & 13-3. But he made a career for himself..... didn't Jerry say that they did not need to draft O lineman because they had Romo back there.

Dak has the best O line in football. A good RB. Very good WR's. If he can't make it work than it is time to find a new QB. People are forgetting in 2015 the Cowboys had crap at WR and RB..... that is why the backup QB's struggled.

What is the point of going 6-7???? You can go 6-7 without paying the QB. Plus I would rather go 1-12 and get great draft picks and rebuild the whole thing. 8-8 will not get us to a SB.

Well, Collins has made good strides.

Martin has a bad back, Frederick isn't the same guy pre-GBS, Williams was looking better, and well Smith is great when not dealing with an injury.

The line should be playing better, but is it coaching or injuries ruining it?

We are seeing that the real problem is deeper. The OL coach has just been a scapegoat. They thought Pollack wasn't the answer in 2017 so they replaced him with Alexander. Then they blamed Alexander and replaced him with Colombo. The OL still hasn't been dominant as they are paid to be.

An OL coach can only do so much. The deeper problem lies with the HC/OC and the offensive system. You need a coach with a real offensive system that allows their offensive players to succeed. Then you combine that scheme with coaching up fundamentals and technique - that's what OL coaches really do.

Sell. Entire coaching staff needs to go and their stench fully removed; before bringing on their replacements.
