No to Urban Meyer

Urban Meyer is getting lots of news pointed his way about a future spot on the Jerry's Puppet List.

If people want Urban as a short-term fix/head coach, maybe but this coach will be with Dallas shorter than Jimmy Johnson. Coach Meyer has continuous health issues, along with being with his family. He will be with Dallas for 3 years AT MOST.

Not against that but just expect it.

His health issues have arisen conviently when NCAA stink around his program has arisen

He will no longer have to worry about having to pay players as he can do it here no problem.

Dallas won’t need him for more than that if he brings some structure and fixes the offense. It is another matter if he is allowed to do so......

If you haven’t won a Super Bowl after 4 or 5 years then the odds of you winning one are low.

Kellen Moore remains as Offensive Coordinator, but also learns/implements Urban's offense.

Ron Rivera becomes the new Defensive Coordinator.

3-5 years is fine honestly. That’s a long time in the NFL.

I have reservations about the ability to translate his game to the nfl
I don’t care if he’s here 3-4 yrs and goes
If he can fix this team in the short term ill worry about long term later

Exactly, if I can get 3 years of quality coaching and an actual chance for a Super Bowl? Yeah, sign me up today. And Meyer will likely have a quality coach on staff to take over if and when he did leave. Sure can't say that today, can we?

Jerry might be fine having someone like urban coach this team for 3 years. By that time it's likely this oline is old and beat up, zeke is on his last leg, dlaw and others will be north of 30, and were looking at a rebuild. In Jerry's mind that gives Kellen moore 3 years to learn under a legendary coach before taking over.

Goodell will have a field day with him since he likes to harbor woman beaters, murderers and drug users. Perfect fit for the Cowboys! The minute things start getting rough he’ll set sail again in the name of “health”.
