Myer’s health issues seem to flare up when the NCAA comes after him.

I watched the OSU/Maryland game last year and Meyer looked like he was about to have a heart attack. He kept squatting down and banging his chest.

He does not have a heart condition.

His “health” issues only come around when his program starts to get in some sort of controversy... look it up!

I'm more concerned about the health of his assistant coaches' wives.

that too...I don't have to look it up..your right.

Some of the stuff I read on this board. :muttley:

Urban is an Ohioan, I'm an Ohioan. He's known here. But keep the long distance all-I-know-is-stuff-I-read-on-the-internet views from Texas coming.

I'd rather have Urban coach from a casket of the sidelines than that fool Garrett!

Exactly. I believe his “health” issues are over exaggerated, if they even exist.

The grind of being an NFL HC does not bode well for Meyer's condition. I think he is a bad risk.

He builds a strong coaching tree everywhere he goes though so even when he leaves, he puts the program in good shape with a successor.

Utah - Kyle Whittingham (his DC at the time, has been their coach ever since)
Florida - He didn't have an immediate successor but their current HC is Dan Mullen, who was his OC.
Ohio State - Ryan Day (his OC)

Folks. Meyer “retired” in part to health issues. Benign tumor and migraines I believe.

Anyone have more detail on this? Is he going to come in and suffer a relapse? Is he fully recovered?

Thanks for any updates.
This is the red flag for me. He had a fist size tumor removed and a dr told him he should quit coaching. Florida and Ohio State are nothing compared to Dallas in terms of stress.

The Jason Garrett coaching tree...is that even a thing?

If we get 3-4 seasons of coaching from him, its worth it.

He's a great coach.

Landry would pace.

Jimmy would vent.

Parcells would yell and stare.

Jason would clap.
