What say you?
Tyron and Martin locks. Zeke will probably get the very last back-up spot

Cooper 90% chance (Theilen injury + Moore/Julio having low TD numbers really helps Coop).

Dak i'm going to say no. The 2 top spots will be Wilson/Brees so Dak will have to outrank both Rodgers and Cousins for the 3rd and final spot (Dak's best chance will be what happend last year, get in as an injury alternate).

Only player on defense I see is Lawrence. Problem is Hunter, Cam Jordan, and Arik Amstead are having better performce so Lawrence is probably in the Dak situation (will only get in as an alternate).

Overall i'd say 4 players on the original pro bowl roster with 1 or 2 more getting in later as alternates are needed

It’s a popularity contest really. Nothing to do with your actual year.
This is one of the most fake narratives out there. Fans trying to spin the pro bowl as some conspiracy.

I'm literally staring at last years pro bowl line-up (starters and reserve) and there's not a single player on the roster who i'm saying "this isn't a level starter" or "this guy is for sure not a top 5 starter in his conference".........

Same as always

Smith
Martin
Cooper

Dak and Zeke will get in as well. Probably after super bowl and injuries

Smith??? No way. Collins has been much better. Dak is going to get a lot of votes too.

LT gets preference since it's a harder position. Usually they pick 4 LT and 1 RT from each conference

Smith no way ? Guess you haven't been following the NFL this season.

NFC wise Leno, Whitworth, and Bakhirati all are rated lower than Tyron and all have more penalities than him.

Brown, Staley, and Amstead are all injured. Trent Williams refused to play this year for Washington (sitting out).

I literally just named all the NFC LT pro bowlers from the last 2 season and none of them are healthy or rated higher than Tyron....... (If Tyron is a no way then who are these 4 NFC Left tackles that are clearly better than him ???)

What was already a joke became even more of a joke with the Super Bowl players needing replacements.

They should only consider you a "Pro Bowler" if voted in. Replacements and fill ins, or players selected by the coaching staff should play for the pay and fun only.

I watch every game. Smith has had some duds. Penalties to kill many a drive. You know this is 2019 right?

Martin for sure
Tyron
Dak (if miss playoffs, and due to pass yards only)
Believe it not, maybe Jalen Smith (similar to Dak, huge tackle numbers but....not a true top guy)
Maybe Zeke

The pro is just so weird
Just not a fan of it

For Example; Trubisky was a "Pro Bowl QB" last year.

Trubisky was “All-Pro” Thursday night!!

In the real world you performance is measured against your peers and your competition. You don't compete against "what iffs" or "should be".

In the real world if you have to choose from a selection of dirty tee shirts, you choose. You are not happy but you choose. Shirt is still dirty. That Smith is a top tackle says more about the position today. Smith has not been good.

They hand out participation awards today also.

QB, RB and that's it. No one else.

Edit: La'el Collins is the only OL player that should get a nod.
