Why isn't Rhule getting more consideration?

Why isn't he getting more consideration? The coaching job he's done at Baylor is one of the best I've seen in recent memory. He also turned around the dormant Temple program and started putting players in the league.

I'm concerned the Giants are going to try to hire him since he's a native New Yorker and ex-Giants assistant but I hope Jerry gives him a look. Unlike Meyer this guy is winning without elite recruits.
Totally agree. As I commented on an earlier post where you mentioned Rhule as a possible candidate, I totally share your opinion on this guy being given due diligence as an option.

Thanks man.

I’m not sure what’s so great about a guy who’s lifetime coaching record is 47-41. Especially at the college ranks.

don't get me to lying

I don't really know or have the expertise to offer an informed opinion about his chances of being a good NFL coach

I think the argument is considering where he has coached and how his teams performed given the level of recruits these schools can attract compared to the competition, he's been pretty impressive. He's already received consideration from the Colts and Jets so thats compelling

However, since he apparently has a set of cojones he's not willing to part with, I think we can safely rule him out of the running for the Cowboys job

3 teams may be interested until they see the buyout....Rhule will be coaching the Baylor Bears for a long time.
David Smoak.

buyout for Rhule is among the top buyouts in the industry of college football coaches contracts, without question among the top 5 overall.

I'll take Urban Meyer... the Urban Cowboy - guy looks like Danny White...man was born to coach the Dallas Cowboys
