Especially when you consider the fact that Jason Garrett is 1-15 without Romo and Prescott.
Oh, are we considering Dak a 1st round pick for this argument? Dak was a fourth rounder, and while he's been pretty good, he's not someone who's going to carry the team on his back. I want Garrett replaced too, but you can't judge any coach by their record with scrub QBs and a mediocre defense.

Tomlin's done a good job of keeping the Steelers competitive but he's fed off a pretty weak division for a few years.

Still, guy's got a ring and much better resume than Garrett even if that's not considered. He'd be an upgrade, worth a look if the Steelers dump him.

Agreed. If the Steelers dump him, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to getting him.

Think about it....when he was coaching a team in their prime, our team pretty much resembles theirs......not a bad idea.

He was 5-3 with Kitna

I agree with you. But the elephant in the room that is the architect of all the dysfunction is Jerry. He has caused almost all our problems because he fundamentally refuses to accept that an NFL owner should never be in charge of football operations. 30 of 32 owners understand that. The winners of the last 23 SBs were teams whose owners hire someone else to run the football side. It’s not rocket science. It’s football science.

Yes Garrett is terrible. But who has kept him around for a decade because of his stubborn foolishness?
Well said!

...money has destroyed this team. Young men getting paid lottah Dollahs, has circumvented their priorities.

It's probably the toughest division in the NFL.

Records from 2010-2018

2) Pittsburgh

6) Baltimore

10) Philadelphia
11) Dallas
12) Cincinnati

22) NY Giants

I guess I've let the recent downturns of the Browns and Bengals color my perception.

That makes Tomlin look even better.

he's a no-brainer for me.
but I dont see Pittsburgh being that dumb.
GREAT coach.
LOVE to have him here.

Not impressed with Tomlin at all.

He won Super Bowl (Barry Switzer style) with Cowher team.
He lost the one he went to on his own.

Duct tape and wire ties that result in competitive seasons.
I’m not interested.
I would rather have a few to 5 down years if it meant the other years were fruitful.

Tomlin can also hire and fire his own staff. He can bench a player or cut one if needed. None of those things can happen here except by Jerry senile jones

I think this is a very important element. Jimmy had that power, BP sort of had that power.

i'd take him based on what he's done with that steelers team this season alone.
