Losing in the NFC Championship won't be enough to save Garrett's job anymore. I think that will only reinforce to the Jones boys and fans that they have the players to get to the big show but the coaching is what held them back.

Anything short of a miracle run that ends with a 6th Lombardi trophy in Jerry's building...Jimmy Johnson is correct.

I read somewhere awhile back, I think it was a sports reporter but hell, it might have been someone here, is that Jerry is never going to fire Garrett, he's going to move him into the front office. I have no idea what position it would be or if Garrett would accept it, but it would be somewhat of a face saving move for both JJ and Garrett so I can see that happening.

How can people expect him to get another job? The Dallas roster has been solid for years. Good QB play between Romo and Dak. Decent drafts. 2 playoff wins. Nobody off the "coaching tree". Garrett has proven he can't run an offense. He has proven his teams play sloppy. Can't coach defense. Special Teams have stunk under him. Every other year more responsibility is stripped away. Never see him coach in game. Half time adjustment non-existent.

Who gets hired - Big time college coaches, sharp young coordinators, proven winners elsewhere, top - top flight position coaches. Where does this guy fit? He doesn't.

I am surprised he didn't add "including Jason" to that everybody would be miserable.

Johnson needs to keep his mouth shut because Booger will not do something he's suggesting just because it's coming from him. Hell, Booger might put Garrett in the ROH just to spite Johnson.

Why did/do John Fox and Norv Turner keep showing up. Hell, Turner walked off the job mid season and gets another. If this country recycled like the NFL, we wouldn't have this pollution problem.

You are downplaying Garrett's networking ability and political nature. Those two things have taken more people down the road than competency.
