Belichick will cut a player in a hurry if not performing to his standards. Meanwhile, JJones and crew keep a woefully inconsistent kicker, and leave points on the field. Oh brother.

No kicker available at this stage of the season is likely to be much of an upgrade, might as well stick with Maher, at least He's got a big leg.
Kicker should be an offseason priority (like it should have been this year), at the very least I want some actual camp competition this time.

A poster here wrote about a kicker from Japan whom he thought was really good. I don't remember who posted it or what the kicker's name is, but I would be down with it if the guy is good. We've had foreign kickers before. Tony Fritsch comes to mind.
