At this point I don't care who they sign. Just get someone in and replace Maher ASAP. Show the locker room there is at least a little accountability within this franchise.

Cut Olawale and keep two kickers: Maher for 50 plus and someone else for anything closer. Its not like we use Olawale for anything except busted plays.

We didn’t replace him last week because he’s got a big leg and we wanted to limit Patterson’s returns. Plus, we have the long week this week to tryout and bring someone up to speed.

Our special teams isn't so bad I would want to concede the 40 yard line every time, but kicking deep into the end zone would limit them to the 25.

Kickers are hard to figure out
If you can hit from 60 why is 35 so hard?
I think it’s all mental with them but we need to address a real solution in the off season because Forbath is not a long term answer
I’m also ready to look at punters

I agree. Jones was a strong punter for several years, but he has become below average at this point.

I think it’s time to move on at kicker, punter and ST coach
Hire a good guy who can rebuild everything from kickers to return and cover guys

They should.

Chris Jones is dead last in punting average, dead last in net average punt yards, 24th with punts inside the 20.

I don't recall the last time he really boomed a punt that change field position

Thankfully you were proven wrong... Maher lost us at least 3 games this year, if not more... Hopefully Kai Forbath is the answer. 2 outta 3 or 4 FGs per game just ain't cutting it

We didn't replace him last week because the three guys we brought in for tryouts kicked really poorly

I still think they wanted the long week and a guy with enough leg to takes kick returns off the table v CHI. Either way, he’s gone now.
