Still not sure why this forum painted a bull’s-eye on his back. I don’t think he has been all that bad. Can’t afford all pro players at every position

You're talking about people calling Tyron Smith "washed up" and saying the Cowboys window is closed. Is it that surprising?

I don't get all the hate on Chidobe Awuzie. He is a player who has actually improved over the course of this season. He started slow but he has picked up his game a little. Besides, there is no way they can sit him with Anthony Brown on IR.

Its funny but no one mentioned the game Demarcus Lawrence had against Chicago. 1 tackle, 1 assist no sacks. While Lawrence was chasing a RB who did not have the ball, Mitch Trubisky ran through his side for a 23 yard TD. Lawrence has the same number of sacks and forced fumbles as Taco Charlton and Charlton has played in 4 less games.

The guys who had bad games are easy to find. Just look at the guys sprawled out on the ground after missing a tackle. Or the guys on offense standing around while Dak is scurrying for his life looking for an open receiver.

I am not saying Devon Smith is going to light the offense on fire, but he is a guy who can open up an offense and make a few plays. What has Tavon Austin done lately? He barely gets targeted and they only run that Jet sweep once every 2 months.

Season was over a long time ago.
Why not try some people out as starters?

I've had to eat my words about Jeff Heath a few times and I'll do it again? It still looks like this defense played better with him than without him as of late anyway

Fact.

Heath isn't Ed Reed and I don't know anyone who thinks he is.

But he's a solid player and those who constantly bash the guy are not seeing accurately IMO. Our defense suffers noticeably when he's out

Because for all of Heath's flaws he hustles his butt off out there and hits hard. Rare commodity on this team of Hot Boyz

Should be standard operating procedure, not something you whip out in desperation when you're Dead HC Walking.

If it's a good idea now, why wasn't it a good idea for the last decade?
I think jourdan Lewis, Blake jarwin, pollard, and some reserve front 7 defenders should’ve been playing twice as many snaps since about week 6 or so. If they did they might have another win or two

Maybe Jerry wouldn't let him until now. There's always that possibility. Garrett IS friends with some great coaches, current and former, so he had to have some sounding boards.... Granted, I think he's a terrible HC and needs to go, but we don't know how much Jerry has hampered him.

I've always liked this hustle and his speed no doubt took me awhile to realize that they don't play with the well without them
