I'll ask the question I always ask. As opposed to which owners? Which owners are willing to spend what Jerry spends, actually want to win, and don't want to it be their way?

Whining about Jerry suggests just a complete lack of perspective on sports owners.

Most of them.

I think you're dead wrong. Jerry's actual track record with Jimmy and Parcells says otherwise. Why would Jerry respect Dabo enough to stop doing the crap him and his children have been doing the last 31 years he's owned the team. To me this isn't even rational thinking. Take your homer goggles off and join us in the real world. Jerry's not concerned with winning or he wouldn't keep doing all the stupid crap he's always done.

I've answered this question at least 4 times, it has nothing to do with me being a 'homer' - I'm well connected to human psychology and to think that a man can't change the way he thinks over the course of 31 years is just flat out ignorant. No one knows what took place on a day to day basis with jerry and Jimmy/Bill. Those are massive personalities and egos - it works both ways, to blame jerry for everything is ignorant. If you don't think Jerry is concerned with winning you're not a very smart guy.

In my opinion Dabo is the guy that the Cowboys desperately need. The culture that he's created at Clemson, the incredible energy that he brings, he's proven he can coach his *** off (he's out coached Nick Saban every time they've played each other; Nick had better talent for the most part), he'd bring the best out of players and I think he could control Jerry as well as anybody (both of them are good ol boys from the south and I think they'd have a mutual respect for each other).

Based on a Google search he makes $9.3 million a year, which blew my mind - but Jerry has the funds to pay the guy pretty much whatever it would take & I'd let him bring his whole freakin staff.

Would love Dabo

Dabo is a salesman and a motivator. He requires top shelf coordinators to succeed. His strength is that he knows this, has arranged it, and pays those coordinators appropriately.

I'm not sure how this would translate to the NFL.

why do fans think that coaches with greta jobs and make great$$$ want to leave and come here? many will not..pipe dreams stop grasping at straws..

even if a few did , whats the odds they come in and are super successful? how long before its a failure like Saban, Petrino, Chip and others?

this is similar to trying to find a Elite QB so it could take a few failures before getting it correct..the grass isnt always greener on the other side..

I think the Joneses are smitten with Riley, and he provides two things to jerry. one he is popular with the fans, so sales.....second is riley is an offensive coach which allows jerry to meddle and help him pick his defensive coordinator...keeps jerry involved.....Jerry outside of Bilicheck wouldn't give up full meddling for anybody even for a short time.

Honestly, I bet his dream job (if he wants the NFL) is Houston. Watson and Hopkins (and quite a few others IIRC). Doubt he'd want to work for Jerry.
I'm a Rockets (and Astros) fan, and last playoffs, I remember he came to a Rockets vs Warriors game wearing a Texans sweatshirt. I already hate Clemson from their two wins against my Aggies (yes, it's pure saltiness NGL) and dislike Texans fans for their obsession with us and obvious baby brother syndrome. Man would that Clemson trio be insufferable (IMO).

He wouldn't be the first head coach to need quality coordinators. Jimmy Johnson did. Joe Gibbs comes to mind as well.

Everyone says this about college coaches and yet every year tons of college coaches show interest in the NFL.

It's almost like highly successful people seek out the top of their field and enjoy new challenges.
Successful coaches want to show they can do it all
With few exceptions most would jump at good nfl job
And for a team looking for a HC this team has a solid roster so I suspect lots of them would be willing to move up the ranks

Who are your choice that aren't on earth? Shouldn't we consider them?

Xemclop Beemclitoris is obviously the best coach in the universe. But the Moopies are giving him 25 schmeckles a year, which is more than the entire Earth's GDP. So idk if Jerry Bear can afford him.

Be a God in Clemson or be stuck with a drunk Billionaire and his kids who will try to inject in how you coach your team.

Tough one.
Have you ever been to Clemson?

Have you been to Dallas?

Next question.

This is the #1 franchise in sports, it has the largest fan base in all of football, and is America's team. Not only that but they haven't won a championship since 1995, and the owner would pay whatever it takes to win - so he'd make more money and have the opportunity to be a god in Big D - that's more appealing than being a god in Clemson (like someone mentioned in here).

I agree 100,000%. The Clemson coach knows the young players, he knows how to utilize the young players talents best. He's familiar with a great many of college players around the country from a recruiting standpoint and also from scouting them to game prep for them (he's played against a lot of them).

I'll add this as well...the last time this team hired a coach and went to the super bowl that head coach came from the premier college football program. Its literally the model for success that we have not repeated.

Yes, I've been to a couple Clemson games. I've tailgated and I've enjoyed the nightlife near the stadium. Its epic. I'd encourage you to go.

thats not the issue thats a pretty known fact is most would want full control and would not be happy with the meddling of the FO ie Jerry and Stephen doing all the interviews, injury updates etc etc

most big names would not want to come here because of this is the narrative..im just reiterating what most have stated publicly here and in the media..
