they defense looks a lot like the rest of the team they don't seem to have any interest in any thing that has to do with on the field

Leads the league in dropped passes...
Leads the league in missed tackles...
Kicker leads the league in missed FG's...
Last in the league in field position...

Details... details...

I detect a pattern forming.
Am I late to the party?

A lot of them on 3rd down too I bet... LOL

Really is pathetic how horrible Smith and LVE have played this year. Not sure I have ever seen anything like it with two young players like that.

LVE, Smith, our DT's and our two safeties. The middle of the D is completely soft.

What is the source of these stats? I'd like to see how they compare to other teams.

By the way, how many yards and points do you think resulted from the 37 missed tackles by the starting LBs? Also, it feels like these numbers are low. I think LVE missed several tackles per game.

These aren't thumper LBers. This team needs big DT's to keep the lineman off of them so they can make sideline to sideline tackles and use the speed.

Well the stats really tell the story don’t they?

LVE leads this group having missed how many games so far this season?

I think Pathetic sums it all up...

The angle Jaylon came in on that play was completely set up that cut back.

The fact Jaylon can’t break down and adjust course without looking like he stepped on a land mine is troubling.

Another one of those deals where if you watch the games, you don't need the stats.

I was noticing last game, there seems to be moves and cuts he struggles with.

so......the coaches don't see this crap on film and address it......got it.
address sure tell them to get their chat together but by the time they get to the NFL if they arent excelling at the basics of football, umm they never will..

stubborn people keep turning to coaches when this is a PLAYER issue, penatlys, TOs and tackling.. btw you cant bench stars premium high paid players this isnt HS or College with an endless amount of players available and typically the best one is atrtting..

all they can do is point it out ask that they improve and let them know why they might be playing poorly, but basics of tackling GTFOOH bro, its the nfl these are grown men playing a sport they've been playing most likely since middle school..they were given a contract in the NFL because they are among the best, if they cant tackle, thats an effort and mental thing...

BTW still dont see an official list of Missed tackles for the nfl , where are these stats? how do the rest f the nfl and players stack up..without that hard to know just how bad we are because from what ive seen in the nfl since they wont allow a real hit nothing highs nothing low, nothing backside/blindside etc etc

uts tough to tackle properly around the leagues its been an issue..

The coaches can only give them the tools they need to win. If the players can’t implement it. That’s it in a nutshell

and LVE you add that all down our middle, its not a coincidence..
I could write a book. On every game why we lost it. In fact one game there were so many drop balls in fumbles it was pathetic

so all other 31 teams managed to acquire players who want to.....we're the only team who managed to acquire players who don't.
so.....your answer is keep the coaches and get new players.
got it.

It should, unless the misses all happen on the same play and usually on third down so the tackle may show up on the stat sheet but still be too-little, too-late.
Not really
A missed tackle is a missed tackle even if the next guy makes the tackle
You still had a missed tackle which generally means you gave up more yards
This stat is just missed tackles, not a pct of missed tavkles
