so all other 31 teams managed to acquire players who want to.....we're the only team who managed to acquire players who don't.
so.....your answer is keep the coaches and get new players.
got it.
really so against whats the total for all the others , I guarantee its not far off.. we are going through a slump and yes players are pressing and out of position and it happens..

tis is a total team issue just saying coaches should coach it out of them its not accurate, they need to lay better, Period!

Crawford, Jeff heat, they receive so much criticism. But tell me they’re not missed

They aren't. Do people not realize that Jeff Heath was one of the worst tackling safeties the last two years in 2017 and 2018?

i dont remember this being an issue with this defense when Marinelli ran things.
the more Richard has taken over...the more this began to emerge.
its both players not executing and in my opinion coaching....or lack there of.
anyone get benched or fined for so many miss tackles?

You would be wrong

I would be wrong on what?

Jeff Heath was one of the worst tackling safeties in 2017 and 2018.

Jeff Heath can not tackle. We noted last year in this space that Heath had more missed tackles (11) than defeats (six). The problem got worse in 2018, as Heath's 22 broken tackles were the second-most allowed in the league. Heath just isn't a starting-caliber strong safety; he's a quality special teams player who has been promoted beyond his skill set.

That vaunted group of linebackers I keep hearing about.

LVE has missed multiple games now and still leads to the team. Yikes.

my biggest takeaway. last year he was one of the most sure-tacklers in the league. this year, one of the worst? what a weird and disappointing year.

How many did LVE have last year total? Seemed like maybe 1.

“I picked the wrong year to quit sniffing glue.”

13. crazy enough, Bobby Wagner actually did only have 1 miss. ON 139 tackles. That's insane

A lot of them on 3rd down too I bet... LOL

I knew this wasn't very accurate stat as so many teams are very close

now there are great tackling teams on the list that are so far ahead of everyione its rediculius,,,

cant find many officially missed tackle stats but found this and we do NOT lead the nfl, hard to go through all of it but go down to bottom graph far right Mtckl

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/opp.htm

has AZ-116
lions 106
chargers 102
bucs103
Cowboys 104
Jags 101

but there are MANY at 97 area and goes down from there..

not great to be near the top but theres not big gap from say 2-16 we are talking 6-7 tackles...so it looks like lots of teams share this issue, sure would be nice to be in lower 16 but this stat is overblown and really not official..

We are a very diverse team
We find more and more ways to lose

I was watching the Eagles/Giants game last night: Tie score, one minute in regulation, Eagles deep in their own territory and Wentz has a pass batted way up in the air that an offensive tackle gets to before any defender can. He swats it into the ground. I said out loud, "if that was a Cowboys pass, it would have fallen right into the arms of a defender for a game-winning pick-six."

Our linebackers are so bad. The way they were being talked up, and they embarrass the team and fan base like this.

Worse yet, we're stuck with Smith for a couple more seasons.
There is nothing wrong with our linebackers. It's all scheme. Vander Esch was a number 1 pick for a reason...and was on his way to rookie of the year...then Richard took over. Do the math people...he moves LVE out of the middle...and we haven't been the same since.

Cool, you should hit up the guy who posted it on Twitter to let him know his stats/outtake doesn't jive with Pro Football Reference.

It's all scheme? Dude, I don't care what scheme it is, tackling is fundamental in them all lol

And aren't you the dude who is biased towards anything Boise? A linebacker needs to tackle well, both Smith and LVE are trash at it.
