Well why are we saying elite in the same breath as Dak. Elite he is not, so the point is moot.
Elite quarterbacks rarely win championships. Marino. Elway before T. Davis , Jim Kelley are some examples. Others such as P. Manning and Brees won with complete teams. Same as Elway. Brady grew to elite status within the system. Elite quarterbacks compile stats. Not rings.

Well lets just say in the playoffs, a game where the quarterback makes the difference, and that is what wins the game. There certain names, elite quarterbacks, who nobody is surprised that they make the difference in a playoff game and get their team to the next game. Right now I don't have any confidence in Dak being a difference maker in the playoffs. Rodgers, Brees, Farve, Brady, those types of names not just the fans of their team expect them to have this abilities, the fans of opposing teams know it too. Dak is a good quarterback, he just isn't at that level at this time.

With the exception of Brady, the others have one ring apiece. Again, once they got a complete team around them. That elite quarterbacks bs is overblown. Most of them couldn’t do much on another team with less talent. It’s easy to appear elite when all the pieces are in place. Ya know?

I'm just talking about being able to win in the playoffs at all, having confidence that the QB can be a factor. This season, Dak hasn't even shown he can beat any team above .500. That is far from being elite, and that is far from being worth 40 million a year. He has talent. We were told that he is a leader of men, that inspires those around him, propaganda that kept getting spread about how he was a leader and romo wasn't. Well this is a season the team is underperforming. We were told that he was clutch, and yet this season he hasn't beat any good team. That's what happens to propaganda, the truth sets in often. Again, he's a good Quarterback, but he's not elite, and this season the Cowboys should be doing better than they are, and paying him to be a difference maker when he is not doesn't make sense.

Pork bellies. Brazilian and American. African swine flu wiping out Chinese swine. Brazil #1 importer to China. American tariffs about to be lifted.
Good Job!

I'm not a short-term trader anymore after taking a bath the last recession, so the trends don't help or hurt me as much nowadays, but some you can't ignore.

Dak needs to be careful with these kind of canned, uber positive sound bites. It sounds inspiring at first blush but grows old quick and comically out-of-touch if you (and the team collectively) aren’t bringing the goods on the field.

It’s part of the reason most people can’t stand Garrett.

Garrett writes his game plan like a MAD LIBS book. He has his plays picked out before he even looks at who the opponent is. Then he just plugs them in.

alot of stuff from this team is getting old from Jerry to the players. They all need to not talk anymore and perform on game day. Let their play do the talking. The next time someone puts a mic in front of them pleasantly decline

Merrits? Like the fact that he leads the NFL in passing? You clowns used to say Dak couldn't throw the deep ball. BUSTED!! Couldn't throw for 200 yards..... BUSTED!! Couldn't throw for 300 yards.....BUSTED!!

He is now averaging over 300 yards per game.

Just face the facts. All you Dak haters have taken it across the chin. Its over...…….you lost the argument.
If you look at his play this year after the first three games, he has proved us right. Junk yards at the end of games don’t produce wins now do they? Subtract those trash yards from
his totals and see how he is doing. Dak has hurt this team all season and he has been exposed in the worst kind of way.

But last year when it was pointed out that since entering the league only Brady had more wins you said that wasn’t to his credit because his stats weren’t good enough.

You were exposed by @Nav22 for representing the worst kind of way. Or one of them.

Ok. I see what you’re saying. But I honestly feel like Dak is probably the person who is playing best on the team and is the one who’s actually doing all he can to do his job effectively. I can’t think of anyone else on the 53, or coaching who I can say that about. Dak has improved in all areas but has been let down by injuries, inconsistent pass protection, an inconsistent running game, receivers who drop passes, a defense that stops no one and horrible coaching. All the things people said were holding Romo back. It’s just time to find new leadership at the coaching level. Because this has occurred with the team for decades. No matter who’s under Center. To say Dak can’t be the difference maker is wrong because we all have seen him make a difference. To blame him for this disaster of a season s crazy.

How has Dak been exposed? What weaknesses have been shown? Seems like he has improved his overall play but the coaching and others on the team have regressed. Dak is the reason why we have been in most games until the final minute. Yes he has made bad plays and decisions like EVERY OTHER QUARTERBACK. But he has not single handedly lost us a game. He’s actually fought hard to keep us competitive. Anyone who refuses to admit that has a serious agenda against Dak that goes beyond his performance.

I hate to break it to you troll, but all 4 quarters count. LOL

Poor little troll. Dak is leading the NFL in passing and top 5 in most categories and you cant handle it.

Your laughable theory that Dak is backup material has to be one of the dumbest theories this forum has ever known.

Congrats on getting it all wrong.

And will going into week 14. Defense and overall coaching is letting down the team and causing the players to give up. Despite that, Dak perseveres and gives the team a chance.
Garbage time yards just like Matt Ryan

that stat a dollar gets you a cup of coffee, right around 500 football, and one and done if you are lucky enough to play in the NFC least.
