I know many want a hot college coach but very few have come from being a top college coach to a top nfl coach
Now some of that has been taking jobs on crappy teams but I prefer a hot young nfl assistant myself who can come in with nfl experience
I actually prefer a defensive coach though most teams want to offensive guys

Have a team made up entirely of 4-5 star recruits (thereby going into 95% of your games with an overwhelming talent advantage) or face opponents that are more or less equal in talent every week?

Who do you think got those 4-5 star recruits to come to Clemson? Before he arrived it's safe to say that Clemson wasn't a perennial college football powerhouse, and he's beat just about every college powerhouse there is.

I think you missed my point. Dabos' recruiting skills, while considerable, would be irrelevant in the NFL.
