We are better than the Giants D by a small margin. Its not even about padding stats anymore IMO, we just aren't as talented as we want to believe we are.

Our defense gets eaten up because A. They suck and can't tackle and B. Our scheme and playcalling on defense is garbage. How this defense continuously gets eaten up by screens is ridiculous.

His number 1 receiver always has been Ertz. And he only played with Jackson for 1 game so to say he was missing a player he only played with one game is not saying much.
And besides, I thought elite QB can play with any receivers. Clearly you are a Wentz nuthugger without a clue.

Barkley did not look good, but was doing enough to warrant more carries. The playcalling was terrible.

They obviously don't practice tackling. Often they are in position to make the tackle, but don't want to put forth the effort to do it. That's coaching, and effort.. If these guys played like that under Jimmy Johnson he would have cut some significant players, and had them practicing tackling on off days.

Unfortunately the mediocrity we see across the league is a reflection of the salary cap, and how it restricts movement, and how teams prepare their players for the season.

sure ertz he goes to the most underneath when there are outside guys drawing coverage away and opening up the middle of the field.

Yea desean played 1 game, before getting hurt, 150 yards and two tds. Point is when you don’t have your 1,2,3 talented receivers you’re going to struggle. Why did Dallas trade the farm to get amari last year? Couldn’t he just use whatever scrubs were around.

silly to you can bring up really bad guys around you. If that were the case get 100 million quarterback and minimum wage guys off the street for wideouts

Because Dallas had zero players that were/are on Ertz level. Simple as that.

That was some of the worst offensive play / play calling I've ever seen in my life in that second half.

I actually think we'll beat the Eagles in our second matchup. I don't think they match up well against us, and they really haven't the past couple seasons.

However, with how we are playing, you never know.

That’s just a stupid comment. If one loves the Cowboys, he/she wants them to win and division rivals to lose. That has nothing to do with Jerry or Garrett. Only a pseudo fan pretends to love the Cowboys but would rather see them lose just to have non-game issues be what they want. We all already know Garrett is done with anything short of an NFC championship, so what root against the players, the team?

Maybe some of you want to be right and have stupid administrative things done your way so badly that you’d prefer to not even win a title if it came to that. I never knew it was even possible for fans to root against their own team until I experienced it on this forum.

Brady has always played with scrubs yet still gets it done.
Everyone has been calling Wentz a great franchise QB since he came into the league and he’s his WRs aren’t good but he looks lost half the time. Ever since he hurt his knee and stopped running his effectiveness has plummeted. He does okay when he leaves the pocket but not so well from the pocket.
I love it when folks don’t like your side of a debate so they just call everyone stupid.
It’s usually when they don’t like how the debate is going.

You make some good points. Carson Wentz is not a running quarterback, but he relies heavily on his mobility when he gets inadequate protection upfront, or the receivers can't get open. The Eagles have been keeping him in the pocket which nullifies his greatest talents. He's a very good quarterback either way, but's he's great with a moving pocket and Doug Peterson just doesn't do it. That's why it was a big blow when Wentz, and the Eagles lost Frank Reich who got the most out of Foles, and Wentz.

During the giant game we saw the Eagles offense change to a more Wentz friendly mobile pocket, and he dominated without wide receivers by using running backs, and tight ends.

The Washington game should be interesting.
