Salary Cap Update

With teams being told the 2020 salary cap will be in the range of $196.8 million to $201.2 million, that helps the Cowboys to a degree. According to ESPN Stats & Information, they have $132.35 million committed toward the cap in 2020 but that is with just 38 players under contract. The Cowboys will have ample cap space with the ability to create more room through releases, pay cuts and restructures.

The teams needs to sign there own first, Jeff Heath, Cooper, Dak, and Jones.

88.9mil in cap space as of right now.

Releasing Crawford and Olowale, and not picking up Flemings option will save the Cowboys 13mil.

So they could have rougly 102mil in cap room

Risen--- do you think we can get an elite safety or a trash can full of sand 1-tech after we fire Marinelli cause he dont like those kinds of 1-techs?...and maybe next year we might be able to get on track...i am rooting cowboys lose all
games and dont go to playoffs..because if even with 8-8 record make it to playoffs instead of being around pick 15-18...it will be like 24 or 25....i was so disheartened by their earlier play and so angry i wont root for them this year
this is the first time i have ever been this way....but most likely we will play well enough to win the east and go one and done in playoffs and pick around 25 come April....i so wish Jerry would just step down and get a real GM

The level of fun will depend on the coaching hire. If it’s another Jerruh’s boy type hire I’ll just work on my tan and not give a damn. If it’s a Meyer or Riley type hire then yes it’ll be fun watching the teams moves.
