Lord knows this team needs a good safety. We've lacked one for close to 20 years. We've been yelling for one , also for 20 years. Hopefully our next HC has the power to pull it off while not getting taken to the cleaners.

If the new coach supports the idea I'm all for it. Being that we have multiple spots to fill they may decide we need all the draft picks we can get. I guess time will tell.

No thanks, price will still be too high.
Hope they don’t fall for it.

and just because someone says they may look to trade them doesn’t mean Dallas is automatically interested.

It depends on whether the new HC is offensive or defensive.

If its Rivera as HC..yes.

If its offensive like an Urban or Riley..no.

We have enough invested in offense.

Defense has a need to be rebuilt now.

Before the OL and Zeke start to come apart.

:omg:

If we could sign him as a free agent, sure. Signing him for top dollar and trading a first-plus for him is too much.

This. If we had done in in-season as part of a playoff push I could get behind it. At this point it makes no sense to trade valuable assets AND give him a huge contract. Just wait another year and give him the huge deal.
