And im guilty of saying Awuzie is really bad. But watching this i can say im wrong.

We even have some posters that wants him to be promoted to head coach. IMO, all the coaches and even the water boys needs to be fired ten minutes after the final game of the season is over. I feel like Jerry will force Moore on the incoming coach though and maybe a couple others. It seems like no new coach can bring all of his own people.

That’s an interesting take, for sure. And kinda softens my opinion of Awuzie because I see him getting beat left and right.

Like others have said, it’s really time to just clean house. Keep Moore, cool. But an entire defensive coaching renovation needs to happen, ASAP.

The video he shows why it looks like Awuzie is getting beat left and right. Its because he doesnt get any help and he's usually responsible for 2 and even 3 coverages. Really like how this guy explains his views. Like the idea of maybe using Awuzie at FS because he is such a sound tackler, or in the slot. If they keep him at LCB maybe they should start using him in man more get him closer to the LOS.

Especially if the Cowboys plan to trade for Jamal Adams in the off season. No need to waste his skill set because of the defensive coaches not knowing how to call the correct schemes.

He made a great point about Chido being a free defender.

That is exactly how he was used by Colorado and quite frankly how I was expecting them to use him, with Jones moving to corner.

Probably most of the outside runs teams hit for big yards vs Dallas are to the left. Byron Jones and Quinn are constantly getting killed on that side.

Never good when some random on YouTube is picking apart our defense

Cant rely on skill when you have SOFT Byron and Cant cover a sneeze Awuzie as your top corners

Thanks for posting this. I like seeing these breakdowns. I would say with the coaching changes coming we could see Chido and others suddenly look better. My biggest gripe with Chido was his inability to play the ball.

We need INT's but I think even more so a guy who can get his eyes on the ball can force deflections as well which results in big plays from others. It seems like we just arent playing to his strengths and so we aren't seeing the best he can be.

This off season cant come fast enough

He has no confidence this year. He has some decent ability. With a new staff he could turn his career around. He was really solid in 2018 he’s need BAD this year.

He screams and yells and looks intense. That's what the shallow folks on this board think is good.

Kids like you probably don't remember the "GROZ" crowd that was prominent on this board for many years. GROZ stood for "get rid of Zimmer." I wonder if we had hired Zimmer and given him the time to develop like we gave JG if we'd be in a different place these days. He likely wasn't going to be ready right out of the box (although he'd already been on HC interviews) but man he sure became a great leader.

There's something there with Chido, it's not like he's a bust. He's definitely not Rob Ryan secondary bad from 2011 or whatever that was, when it was guys like Alan Ball back there. It is frustrating that he's always in good position by never makes the play. But I don't think the coaches help him at all either.
