If Cowboys beat Rams will you cheer for a playoff run?

That's fine if you believe. I don't. Now, I HOPE I'm wrong and they win and turn things around. I really hope it...I just don't think they can or will.
I get it, the power of positive thinking is not your strength when it comes to the Cowboys.

They won't so it is a nonstarter.

Dak hasn't been able to figure out this defense in two tries. I have no reason to believe he will this time around either. thanks to Kellen Moore and Jon Kitna this is now a passing team since they think Dak is warren moon. Wade has beat this offense twice before when it was better. Now there is no balance and wade is going to kill this offensive line and will probably hit Dak a ton. This is a game Dallas should run the ball 30 times and play it close to the vest and try to win late, the way this team was built to be run and that has proven to work but they will come out and dak will throw 40 times sunday in a blowout loss.

I can't wait for this staff to be removed especially Kitna and Moore. Unfortunately it won't matter because the next coach apparently is going to be a guy who said on TV he would coach here so that is who they are going to hire. We have a 78 year old GM who has no clue and is going to hire a guy with all kinds of problems just because he said he would coach here.

Right now alot of us are hoping the team loses out since we don’t see any hope of the switch coming on that allows them to play to their talent level.

However let’s say they win in convincing fashion vs one of the hottest teams in the league on Sunday. Would that suck you back in to hoping for a deep run?

Now that would require the D to stand up and stop someone so it’s not likely but if the offense scored 40 which it’s capable of, maybe they could go on a run.
IM praying for it now..no jumping off bandwagon until its officially mathematically eliminated,...this is about winning games and getting into the playoffs. Hoping for anything less is not true fandom.. the rest will take care of itself..

fans shouldnt worry so much about contracts, draft position. or when coaches will be fired..it will all happen regardless of how you FEEL..and this year is bad enough anything short of the NFCCG will see this staff fired..

they put 30 on this rams team in 2017 lost by 5 35-30 Id say that on our defense..

we lost by 8 on the road and again the defense allowed so many points and running yards in the second QTR we didnt have enough possessions to win, on the defense..

its ;ess about dak and our offense and more about our defense..thats been the issue for so long..ughh

yes the defense struggles and in both rams games in 17 and 18 they did. in 17 our linebackers got us beat and in 18 the injured defensive line was awful.

having said that both times the offense was healthy and ready to go and the qb had the ball in his hands a lot with plenty of opportunities and came up small. the offense is a big part of why they have been losing games. With the nfl today getting a stop in the 4th qtr and getting the ball to your qb to have a chance to win is basically the goal. This teams defense as bad as it is has done that a bunch of times and they fail every time.

I excpect them to fail again sunday and sadly I think they are going to get bullied again and this team worse than the buffalo game.

The Skins have a better chance at beating the Eagles than the Cowboys do at beating the Rams. lol.

There's positive thinking and then there's seeing how Jerry has mismanaged things because of his ego all of these years.

i would because the crazy part of my brain thinks what if the nfl really is fixed, this would be the greatest year for the cowboys to win the super bowl. media and fans would be talking about it for years! :)

Suppose we did beat the Rams and get some momentum. I went through the record books curious if any Cowboys team ever did lose this much at the much at the end and make it far.
For our franchise, it's not good. The only two I found were:

1998, lost week 13-15, kicked out in first game with Arizona Cardinals, that was the game that made Plummer a hero
1979, lost week 11-13, kicked out in first game with LA Rams

This team reminds me of both of that 1998 team. '79 was Staubach's last run.

So I looked at the modern NFL, went back to 2005 on all 4 teams that played in Conference Championships and lost 3 in a row near the end and found this:

2012, Baltimore Ravens, they lost weeks 13-15, that's the year they won the Super Bowl with Flacco, they were 10-6 that year
2011, I remember the G-Men getting hot at the right time twice, and the NYG lost Weeks 10-13 and 15, and won the Super Bowl that year, that's the one where he tried to stop on the 1 yard line
2009, the Saints lost their last 3 games before winning the Super Bowl that year, but I'm not sure this one counts because they were 13-0 and held their starters out the 3rd loss
2005, the Steelers lost 3 in a row near the end of the year before going all in and Cowher winning his Super Bowl and retiring

None of the losers in the Conference Championships or Super Bowls had those loss streaks at the end. Seems like you either go all the way or just fizzle out like the '98 Cowboys.

I'm sorry but it's sad how many want to tank. We're leading our division. We're not 2 games behind with 3 to go. Nothing next year is guaranteed. We should know this bc this year has been a prime example of it.

You are wrong, a new head coach is guaranteed...…...we just have to miss the playoffs......that is why everybody is rooting to lose the East.

We even had a game thread on here last night cheering the Eagles on against the Giants, LOL, that is how bad people want Garrett gone.
