Who is about to lose playing time?

Lol, seriously? Like these players care. As long as they continue to get paid, it won't really matter. It's too late for that anyways.

Also, who's going to replace the players we sit if they continue to play bad? This team has imploded. I've never seen a team do the "timeout" method before. What a joke.

I think jourdan Lewis, Blake jarwin, pollard, and some reserve front 7 defenders should’ve been playing twice as many snaps since about week 6 or so. If they did they might have another win or two

My poster child for guys who merit more time is Devin Smith.

Dak's QBR when throwing to Smith is around 137. Smith shined in preseason. He shined during the season. Smith was finally healthy in his career and playing up to his consensus 2nd round pick.

And they won't even make him active. It's just bizarre. Going into the Jets game, Gallup, Cooper, and Austin were on the injury report, and Cobb was already out. But Smith still wasn't made active. That probably cost us that game.

We even have his rights for next year, but we won't develop him.

Pollard sucks. He should only see the field if zeke is hurt.

Lewis has been terrible. An INT does not make up for being terrible 90% of the time.

Garrett said some guys will lose snaps for their play play.

Chidibo? Woods? Witten ?

Too little, too late.……...this should have been addressed like 6 weeks ago. Classic Garrett, last guy in the room to realize a problem.

Whats next, is he going to announce that for week 16 he will be using analytics...……..boy, nothing gets past Garrett, he is on top of it!

I'm kinda with Nick Eatman on this one, who by the way has had some nice jabs at both this team and coach recently. I'll believe it when I see it. Right now? It sounds like the same, vague Garrett crap that we've been hearing for a decade. The same vague crap that has lead to no change.

If we're going to play this game, then the glaring choices would Chido and Jaylon receiving less time. Jourdan Lewis should be on the field as much as possible, and Joe Thomas should see the field more often.

I'll believe it when I see it. This staff doesn't do such things. They haven't in ten years, are we honestly going to expect them to do it with 3 remaining games?

Sorry, I'm not buying it.
Agreed. This staff is all about comfort. If anyone loses time, it'll be Jarwin and Lewis.

I am of the belief that these Dallas coaches do not sufficiently challenge their players, in several areas. By that I mean that they're not challenged mentally in performing anything other than the most simplistic of schemes and calls. Teams like the Patriots empower their players and challenge them to become a part of the big picture by scouting their opponents. These Cowboys 'do what they do'. The coaches give simple orders and expect them to be followed, that's it.

And they're also not challenged in having their jobs at risk. Far too many players are 'untouchable', no matter how well or poorly they play.

I'm hopeful that this changes under the new coaching staff.

Garret going to take out the guys that took him out. Seems fair.
This could be retaliation against players he thinks let him down. Or maybe they said the wrong thing and it got back to him.
This Ram game is getting more interesting each day lol, going to be fun to see how rams look, if they try to run alot like last time, and many things about what dallas does.
Lawrence has the same number of sacks and forced fumbles as Taco Charlton and Charlton has played in 4 less games.
I find this odd, and it seems to me taco sandbagged to get out of here. He has been playing good in miami,so they basically
got our draft pick.
Question is why did he want out?

Can't say for sure but it seems to me after being inactive for 4 games while guys like Joe Jackson and Dorance Armstrong were playing was probably a factor. There was something about Taco the Cowboys did not like, something we did not see first hand. Maybe he is lazy in practices, falls asleep in meetings, or doesn't listen to coaches. I would have stuck with him and given him a chance to play. At least making him active and giving him playing time adds value if you want to trade him. The Cowboys made him inactive and tried to trade him but surprise, there were no takers. Wasted 1st round pick. And if Cooper doesn't re-sign with the Cowboys, that's two wasted first round picks. If LVE doesn't recover that makes 3 wasted first round picks in what? 3 years? That has to set a team back.

yeah and that adds up , wasting picks like that. A better GM would have worked it so they got at least a 2nd or 3rd for him.
