LMAO...……...we offered our 1st and they said no, they though it was going to be a trash pick, like 28, 29.

Turns out that pick might be top 10!!!

Jets want a do over.

Skins did the same with the Browns.

Browns offered a 1 for Trent Williams in the off-season. Everyone thought Cleveland was playoff bound. Come trade deadline time Browns sucked and the Skins asked what’s up with the trade still? Lmao

I love Adams. But all I want for Christmas is a new coach. If he wants Adams, then go get him.

Need to start rebuilding this defense, they can't force turnovers and more over they lead the league in missed tackles. It's time to get some dogs in at DT and safety

I dont care about picks. We need a self motivated DOG in the secondary.
Prefer a DT..stopping the run and keeping people off our lbs so they can make plays should he #1..SS is a need but cant afford his contract and give up #1 picks aswell

I preferr Simmons IMO. The guy plays the posistion the way the team played Woodson, and the way they played Church in two different type of schemes.
Simmons isnt a thumper..hes probably a FS or olb not a SS

What’s the point? They are looking at a top half draft pick. Can land a good safety with that.

Although if Jerry can waste a few picks to fool the fan base he’ll do it.

Think I'll pass on Adams if they still want a first, and rightfully so.

If Rod is gone, and a better D guru comes in I wouldn't mind a first rounder on a DT depending on how the draft falls.

How about just drafting a Safety...

We could, but there's no guarantee of the value that we'd get wherever we end up drafting in the first round. I don't mind trading for a proven player if the price is right. You're paying for the known instead of placing your hopes in the unknown.

According to arrowheadpride.com, there's about a 65 percent success rate for safeties drafted in the first round. (Success being defined as a player starting for at least half of his career.) So we stand about Brett Maher's field goal percentage of a chance of getting the first-round pick right.

Looking at our drafts, that seems close to right even for us, and we've been drafting well. We've hit on three out of the last four first-round picks, counting LVE as a success, and five of our last seven. Taco Charlton and Morris Claiborne are the exceptions, although we did get some good play out of Claiborne for limited periods.

We can keep doing business the LOSING way by having a team full of scrubs

It isn't that. I'm all for trying to improve the roster using free agency and trades, but the trade has to make sense. If the Jets want two firsts, that's too much. If the Jets want a first and second this year or even a first and third, that's too much.

Still going to be asking too much.
Probably true...........but the Jets greediness prevented them from getting max value right before the trading deadline when teams are in the playoff hunt and are willing to overpay a bit for the player they think will put them over the hump.

Lets not forget what happened with Ramsay. If Adams wants out, he will get out.

Id take him over signing byron
100% with you. After when they tried to trade him to us during the season he went off that next game I believe. He’s a beast we shoulda offered more. Maybe helped saved Garrett job

If we could sign him as a free agent, sure. Signing him for top dollar and trading a first-plus for him is too much.

it really isn't. guy is a game changer. since the deadline passed he's been insane, on a lost cause of a team, after trade rumors etc.

dude had 3 sacks the other day, as a safety lol. that play where he literally just took the ball from daniel jones and ran it in for a td was like nothing i've seen before.

give what it takes for a young difference making stud.

Adam's is great hes a top 5 S But he comes w a price 1st round + picks and a new contract sure he wants top $..Dallas needs DT help a CB to replace Jones a TE and depth everywhere...u cant afford everyone..and we still have Amari, Dak and 23 other free agents after this year lol

It depends on whether the new HC is offensive or defensive.

If its Rivera as HC..yes.

If its offensive like an Urban or Riley..no.

We have enough invested in offense.

Defense has a need to be rebuilt now.

Before the OL and Zeke start to come apart.

:omg:

The Offensive Line has started to come apart and needs two new additions as we speak. TYron Smith injured a lot and penalities ythan
you have Conners that should come off the bench hes not a starter gets pushed around too much and can't hold his blocks
