What non answer?

You asked what receivers were on the roster in 2018 before Cooper, and told me not to look on any current NFL rosters to find them?

Fact is I gave you two guys that are currently on NFL rosters that were there during that fact is I gave you two guys that are currently on NFL rosters that were there during that period. One of which got chased out of town because he “couldn’t get open” and Yet somehow ate our lunch on Thanksgiving day

That leaves out Allen Hurns who is also on an NFL roster currently but I would agree with you that he is not super good

You asked for an answer I gave you one. The facts didn’t agree with your statement so you call it a non-answer. Do you disagree that Michael Gallup and Cole Beasley are currently receivers on an NFL roster or am I missing something?

Yes they are. That part of your answer was true. But I was referring to the Dez Bryant's, Terrance Williams, and Deonte Thompson's which you made sure to omit.

And are you really going to point to a rookie in Gallup as if that helps your case? It doesn't.

Again, your non-answer was as notable as your actual answer.

The Cowboys have to pay this man top 3 money. Doesn't matter if he's a top 3 qb this season or going forward. Cap will keep going up and his cap hit will be workable. Have to take the chance, for better or worse.

For those who wish Jerry to draft another quarterback, not gonna happen. It took him how many years to get away from the old has beens to finally draft a young quarterback?

Besides, the Bengals, Miami etc.... will have first lookies at QB's in the draft. So save your breath haters.

Was Dez on the Cowboys roster in 2018?

Hmmm, that’s news to me.
You asked me if there were any receivers on the 2018 that were still on an NFL roster. I gave you two examples of guys that are currently on a roster and producing pretty well

If you don’t like my answer that’s fine but you asked a specific question and I gave you a specific answer that fit your parameters. I’d you don’t want to accept it, That’s your frigging problem not mine

It's not up to the next coach. It's up to the GM. Our GM will take the new HC's opinion under advisement (or not). And file a recommendation to the owner. The owner and the GM will then decide and inform the next coach of their decision.
We dont have a GM. If we did, then you would be right.

You brought up 2017. Guess it only matters when you bring it up right?

So anything on those 30 carries a game Zeke was supposedly getting the first half of 2018 or .......

You know, the reason Prescott couldn’t throw for over 200 yards on a week to week basis because Zeke was getting fed the ball so much? I’d still like to hear your take on those statistics

Thats an average. Would you like to go back and study film and tell me he wasnt carrying the ball most of the game? Stop. And no response to my quote of you using 2017 and me not being able to use 2016? Funny how you forgot that.

OK so the stat sheet says he was carrying the ball about 18 times per game and was at 20 carries or more only three times during that stretch, but the film is going to prove otherwise?

Dak during those same 8 games, 237 attempts. 30 attempts per game. I wonder if the film will make it look like he only threw 20 times a game

This is a full blown sniffer meltdown:lmao2:

Can I sign him & trade him to the Bengals for their 1st round pick in 2020 & 3rd round pick in 2021 &1st round pick in 2022. I would only sign him if I can trade him. He is incredibly overrated. The problem with doing 5 years at 17.5 million is that would mean he is my starting QB for the next 5 years. Even Prescott playing for free is not a good thing.

I do not want an average QB dragging down my team, my star WR's, my pro bowl RB, and my 4 pro bowl offensive lineman, & Blake Jarwin.

If you could sign Prescott for that cost today, would you do it or not?
HELL NO..i mean i really like Dak and he has shown so much improvement as a pocket passer and overcoming his deficiency of real bad foot work and not being able to transfer weight from back to front foot quickly using his hips
i mean that improvement borders on miraculous in my book...which shows Dak is all in to be the best QB he can be....but you are talking 35 million a year over 5 years....to me the amount QB's make in comparison to other players is criminal
i really hate this....yes QB's should make more...but not that much more

Wait a minute...

earlier your explanation for Prescott being unable to crack the vaunted 200-yard barrier regularly before Cooper arrived in 2018 was because Zeke was "gettring 30 carries a game". You even gloated about how I "walked into" that one...

So I systematically destroyed that false argument and your response is "watch the film, it will prove me right"

But Phil, Dak averaged 30 attempts per game and could barely crack 200 yards. Care to watch the film? LOL

So then your response is to criticize the lack of talent. Which puts you in another conundrum, seeing as how this entire argument started because you claimed that Cooper was a terrible receiver that basically owes his entire career to Dak Prescott.

Which leaves me to wonder, how come Prescott couldn't crack 200 yards without Cooper bit did better when he was here? If Cooper was the slug you claim him to be, how could his presence have such a positive impact? I guess maybe we should check the film.....

Right about now would be a good time for you to move the goalposts again....

This is fun.:lmao:

Im still waiting on you stating that 2017 wasnt ages ago but 2016 was. Its amazing how you forgot that post. I never once said cooper was a slug. I think they need eachother. You just cant admit that because that gives Dak a little bit of credit.
