He'll make a 64 yarder to send the Titans to the playoffs.

In the WC, he'll go for 1 for 3 and nail a 32 yarder, miss a 41 yarder and one from 53. Fans will call for his head but it's too busy resting easy on his pillow.

Maybe they should have had kick from here, he might do better than shorter distance.

I think the Titans are looking at him for their practice squad. Or they're just doing their due diligence by trying him out for future reference.

Their regular kicker, Ryan Succop, has missed time with a knee this year.

I'm confused as to why they brought him in. Couldn't they evaluate him in real game situations by watching Cowboys games?

bc Titans special teams coordinator sees a player they can use to win games.

With Maher being tested by the Titans, it's proof positive that the NFL kicking talent that's left to be explored really isn't anything special.

Agreed. They just aren't out there.

And that's why I'm still upset the Cowboys didn't stick with Dan Bailey, who just had a post-injury slump. I had a feeling they would regret cutting him.

I don't think he can be on a practice squad. Way too many starts

I had that same feeling at the time. Yet, he hasn't been quite the same, especially this year, to be honest. I'm hoping we'll draft a much better one in the upcoming draft, assuming Forbath doesn't have an amazing turnaround. It's like living proof that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, I guess. Kickers can either be worth their weight in gold or a blight on the team. Here's hoping it gets better for us! ;)
