The Ravens completely revamped the offense for Lamar. They use him as a RB as well. Just as an aside, the Ravens play caller that created the offense was Colin Kaepernick’s play caller with the 49ers and Harbaugh.

as a football fan, Lamar Jackson is pretty darn exciting to watch. Boy was I wrong about him... I'm sure coaching helps but that young man is a heck of an athlete. He's SO dang fast.
He’s Tommy Frazier/Scott Frost in a pro setting

They run Nebraska’s 94-02 offense.

let’s see how he does if he has to pass the ball 30+ times. Let’s see how he does if a team can take away his high percentage routes/looks to the TE away.

Props to their coaches for designing a scheme to fit the talents skills, that’s a foreign concept around these parts.

Lamar Jackson would be a WR under Garrett running trick plays... that’s how stupid our coaches are.

The Ravens might not even have drafted Lamar Jackson if they had Garrett. They seem to be intent on trying to make Dak a pure pocket passer. The lucked out on not having Garrett as their head coach and Lamar Jackson is blessed for not having a coach like Garrett holding him back.

well this is a fact He has Running back moves like a front line starter, has the speed of a starting WR in open space, and is decent QB but hes not really a QB .im not hating but this is why,

they are only asking him to throw when necessary and its set up by the run formations that trick defenses up until last night hes averaging 206 ypg

Now thats not why I said it, I heard the people who break down film and know the offense well say Lamar is not asked to

make any defensive reads or audibles pre-snap, never...most of the throws are deep and a lot to wide open WRs because the defenses are so off balance with this hard to stop run game they let loose guys on every play..

Im not saying he cant play QB but if a team would have did this for Vick, Tebow, tyrod taylor or brought back Kap, they would have some success. well if the coaches bought in to stay 100% with this triple option look where they run until teams cant figure it out and over kay it then throw to wide open guys

im not sure its sustainable, will he end up like RG3 or others that had short times doing this? im not sure.

Jackson's a special Athlete, most games best athlete on the filed, but a great QB, not by NFL standards but hes not standard..

what im saying is its most likely not sustainable and will be very tough to duplicate..its not going to be a new trend..not many players like lamar exist..you might make a cheap copy with a player like Hurts or another similar player but they still wont be Lamar..even his backup or needing a backup in case of injury as the entire offense is built around one extraordinary player that makes it all go..

The problem though is defenses have to defend him differently because of his running threat. Take his legs away and he’d be much less effective and much more defendable.

Pretty sure, in fact, 100% confident every D he's faced has tried to do just that but they can't. It's part of his package......his ability to run AND pass at a high level. Other words, find the fastest player in the league and put him QB and see how fast he's shut down coz he's not an accurate pass or can read coverages.

Running QB’s never last. They better win now before the first big injury.
I wonder if the NFL has gotten soft enough so that guys like Jackson can actually play for a long time now. If it has, everybody has to have this type of QB.

Rules be damned. Defensive coordinators are gonna tell their players that if you get a good shot on him, take it. Not necessarily to hurt him, although there are DC's like that, but to send a message that's it's going to be a tough day. I mean it's their job to try to eliminate the best player on the offense and no doubt Jackson is that guy. He's a great player.

I haven’t watched them enough, but you summarized what I have read:

Teams are completely selling to stop the run, which is allowing WRs to run completely open. Lamar is obviously playing incredibly efficient football in that he’s throwing when they are.

I think we will get a better gage next year, when teams have a year of tape on him and the new offense.
